Trial games were held this weekend for both these comps. Anyone have any scores?

WWT over glenelg by 97 points. First game at Thebby oval for 10 years. David Hams (G) 5 goals

PORT over centrals by 31. S Phillipou 6 majors.

IIRC Hamsy scored 4 of Glenelg's 6 goals. Golding & Liptak kicked the other 2.

The Bays were awful - I wandered out to hear what Brenton Honor had to say at 3/4 time, and he was right on the mark: "Watching in the grandstand anyone would think we didn't have a system - just a whole lot of guys out there playing for themselves". Just like last year... Now WWT has beaten Glenelg by over 90 points in their last 5 matches, including 2 trials.

It was great to be there just for the atmosphere though. A large crowd (for a trial) was there, probably 80% were old Eagles come out of the woodwork to relive some memories. The grandstands and terraces right in front were very densely populated.

One more score you forgot - Norwood beat Sturt by 3 or 4 goals on Friday night. Evidently it was close early in the last quarter.
