I'm surprised there hasn't been a thread posted about this already.

Which coaching moves do you all think will take place next year?

Several coaches are under pressure at the moment, and there have been rumours flying all over the place about sackings, etc. Greg Anderson, Neville Roberts, Phil Carman... etc.

What rumours have you heard? What do you think's going to happen? Who will go where?

Well i know Stephen Williams has just signed a new deal with the Magpies to keep him there until the end of 2004.

I reckon Greg Anderson will stay at Nourlunga unless he gets offered an assistants role at an AFL club. Neville Roberts will be fine i think - despite his dissapointing year. Phil Carman may be in a bit of trouble but i doubt the blues will sack him.

The Eagles will have their yearly coaching change. Another ex Eagles 'legend' will step into the shoes. Maybe Allen Jackovich.

I have the funniest feeling that Neville Roberts will be one coach looking for a coaching position over the pre season. However if Norwood should make it as far as Prelim Final or Grand Final then i'd say his job is safe.

I'd put a slab of beer on the fact Phil's job is safe.

I'd say Ron Fullers job is safe, however i'm not too sure on Brenton Honor......

As would I - but the bottom-feeders at the Advertiser (read: Michelangelo Rucci) are trying their darndest to stir the pot, slipping in little phrases like "...who is unlikely to be coaching at Unley next year,..." after every occurrence of his name in a story. They aren't reporting the news; they are trying to create it!

Not subtle enough. How do you expect the fish to bite when you pull back so hard on the line?

Would you give me a slab of beer anyway? :D

I could but don't expect me to post it! If I did what would I get in return?? :P

There would have to be conditions to which you'd get these slabs.....

Well I wasn't sure how to finish it off, I was hoping you'd finish it off for me!
