Jed Rule as I've mentioned in the draft thread is a 19 year old that has had a good year for the Chargers and is on the Hawks VFL list so they obviously have some interest given that's been a good pathway for them i.e. Jai Newcombe.

Strong body allows for repeat efforts. Tire out of games less as well. Also allows winning the contested ball more. As well as aerial work for shorter guys.

Scholl has the same issue.

When Newchurch kicked the 5 he should have been rewarded.

But I guess if he was and smashed physically the dent to the ego could be hard to recover from.

He needed to be rested a couple of weeks ago and even with that is struggling physically.


Long term project, could be until 2024 before he is AFL capable. There is a player there. The mark he took was class.

If he can get in isolation he may still play a factor here.

Forgot to mention Jed Rule's a genuine 2 sided player and bordering on a Frampton type by foot.
