SANFL drops Elliott as guest speaker

The SANFL were to have John Elliott as guest speaker at their upcoming function. They have now cancelled his booking saying that his appearance would be inappropriate.

Maybe they thought there were too many females and children, people from the working class, and people with a good command of the English language for his appearance to do less harm than good?
