If Bock and Shirley are in our best thirty on todays performance we are in a lot of trouble, either delist them or if some other side wants any one of them please trade, even if it is only for a very low draft pick.

Agree 150%. I'd rather have a stab at a low draft pick than retain either of these 2. Particulary Bock, who is a bloody goon.

Schell>Bock

schell killed bock today, absolutely tore him to pieces!! had 4 opponents by 1/2 time and being at the game i was astounded he didnt win the Jack Oatey medal!!! Shirley was trying to tag but not really doing a good job at it!!

also i dont think we should punt on Stokes either, the kid was ordinary today, the weaknesses in his game shone through.. one sided... not great 2nd efforts... but he did have plenty of courage for a little fella!!

Bock played a strong game on the weekend, prepared to play behind his opponent and attempt to spoil the ball at all times, and playing in front when the flow of the game allowed it. He was always in the contests and willing to provide a linkman role out of defence. A standout in an otherwise disappointing game for his team.

As Rove would say - What the *!@#? He was the bloke that set the bloody ball rolling for the dogs in the first quarter!!!

Just thought I'd pre-empt the likely report... :D

As for my translation, well, it goes something like this:

Bock played a game that smelled strongly of rotten eggs on the weekend. He was consistently caught behind his opponent and his attempts at spoliling the ball generally met with thin air. Whenever he was able to get in front of his direct opponent, his opponent simply changed the direction of his lead and as such Nathan was often found floating uncomfortably outside 50 looking to link back to his man. His game was so poor that even in a 125-point belting, he stood out.

Went to the game and Bock was shocking (so was Ellis for that matter). thought Shirley tried hard and was ok but really he was never going to be much more than a trier.

If I didn't know he was in the Crows team, I would've thought he was a fringe player for WWT. Is he just playing out of position? I've seen his last three games and he's not put a foot right in each of them. I know allowances need to be made adjusting to a team he doesn't normally play in, but geez, he's looking terrible at the moment.
