From a Power point of view, there is 2 key ingredients.

1. The Magpies should play after the Power so that ALL listed and fit players have an opportunity to get a game in on that weekend.
2. The break after the Magpies game to the next Power game is sufficient enough to give us the chance to make changes after Power games.

And 2 items on the wish list,

1. The Magpies are not playing at the same time as the Power TICK
2. The Magpies do not play the week of the Shanghai game. TICK

For the timings we got: GOOD = GREEN, OK = YELLOW, BAD = RED

1 – Before Power, Good Break

2 – Before Power, Good Break

3 – After Power, 5 day Break

4 – Before Power, Good Break

5 – After Power, 6 day Break

6 – After Power, Good Break

7 – Before Power, Good Break

8 – After Power, Good Break

9 – No Power, Good Break

10 - After Power, 6 day break

11 – Before Power, Good break

12 – After Power, Good Break

13 – Before Power, Good Break

14 – After Power, 6 day break

15 – After Power, 6 day break

16 – After Power, 6 day break

17 – After Power, 5 day break

18 – After Power, good break

For me I see 5 games in good timeslots and 5 games in ok timeslots. The rest are bad and impact the Power negatively, impacting our ability to call up players the next week, or to have all our players get a game.

Overall I'd say it's a pretty poor draw from the Powers point of view. No where near enough Magpie games after Power games.

It seems to have improved from last season, though.

At least there seems to be more games after power games at the end of the season. That’s when there is likely to be more on the injury list, so you want as many available as possible.

4 day break - Sunday 14th April vs North then Thursday 18th April vs Norwood. Only 3 full days of recovery, ouch.
My breaks are between Magpie game and the next Power game.

The point is, we will struggle to call up reserves if injuries or bad form strikes the Power at times if there's only a 5 day break.

Yes the Magpies will be hit hard by a 4 day break, but that has limited impact on the Power.

Sooo up against the reigning premier Friday night.
The cream of our newbies will be Port Pirie bound which leaves an interesting line up.
Hoping to get to this game. Want to Woodcock in action.
Think the score could be lop sided.
