..Classic... I really like Gilly, he works his *ss off and never gives up - sound familar. However, I just can't get too excited about him as at the end of the day, he is just a more exciting version of Ian Perrie. With Gill as our primary key forward and Kenny resigning for 2 years, it looks like forward line mediocrity will continue for another few years.

James Gowans ran across the pack after the ball was long gone and just belted the crap out of a North player, blood pouring out the head, black eye. Happened with about 2 min to go, think it was retaliation but not sure what for. Gowans had blood trickling down his chin.

Gill always gave a contest, never gave up trying. Thought Griffin was not too bad, but definitely some work to do in the gym over the summer. Gallman is definitely worth upgrading IMO.

There has been talk about Brad Symes, but my opinion is that he is, and will always be a great downhill skier. Always looks good when team is on top, but struggles when it comes to any defensive responsibilities.

King hit a bloke from behind witha massive Roundhouse to the face with about a minute left off the ball.

In the AFL it would be about 8 weeks.

Interestingly- only one of them threw that punch. Additionally- if you think either of those lads would walk away from a blue if someone actually shaped up, you obviously haven't paid much attention to them for how many years now? It's fair enough to be pissed about it- but that post if just stupid.

It was a stupid move by J. Gowans... but there was something that went on at that bounce just before he chased down and threw a stupid punch. There's a little more to it than that reply suggests. Unfortunately, they don't show the whole sequence- but I'm sure it'll come out in the wash. And lets not forget getting trod on earlier in the game...

I'm tipping 4 weeks.
