McIntyre was dropped, so that should give you an indication on how he is travellign. Capped off a good day for him.

Gill played his worst finals game. Sprayed one early and hit the post with another. But the reality was the ball just wasnot getting down to him.

He was moved onto the wing in the 2nd half and was in the thick of the action, but never had any support.

Gallman, didn't notice him much, but that was probably because I lost interest.

I thought Griffin played alright, he was laying a kick behind play alot, a move that worked a charm for the dogs.

My closing comment is that Centrals supporters are worse than Port supporters by a big margin, and in news that will surprise no one the Gowans boys are thugs.

Additionally- if you think either of those lads would walk away from a blue if someone actually shaped up, you obviously haven't paid much attention to them for how many years now? It's fair enough to be pissed about it- but that post if just stupid.

It was a stupid move by J. Gowans... but there was something that went on at that bounce just before he chased down and threw a stupid punch. There's a little more to it than that reply suggests. Unfortunately, they don't show the whole sequence- but I'm sure it'll come out in the wash. And lets not forget getting trod on earlier in the game...

I'm tipping 4 weeks.

Hadnt seen the incident referred to but I did hear Gowans , on the radio, say it was payback...and even named the North player.

I then saw the incident on tv after... 6 weeks champ...there is a time and place for payback and its not with 2 minutes to go when your about to win another flag

Nah I’m sorry I’ve had enough. I’ve held back while everyone has praised him and while he has for some reason become the cult hero. He is as average as they come. He’s a great athlete and his work rate is terrific, but I’ve had enough. I am so over mediocre footballers with huge deficiencies. How can a 25 year old AFL listed player, cult hero no less, consistently miss set shots from such gettable shots? What about today’s debacle. Kicked 1.3 and another OOF.

I'd say it was retaliation at the next available moment. After a long day, it had obviously progressed past the typical Aussie Rules 'Push me, Pull me' altercation.

I'm especially fond on how it is now OK to throw the first punch (even though I'm pretty sure the first hit was done on an unsuspecting player too?). Lets not forget- this isn't boxing. No player runs on that field expecting a punch up... it just happens that way occasionally.
