3. North Adelaide: Rory Sloane
4. Eagles: Mitchell Banner
5. Port Magpies: Jackson Trengove
6. Norwood: Will Young
7. Sturt: Tom Lee
8. Glenelg: Brian Donnelly (Rookie)

ROUND TWO

10. West Adelaide: Jess Laurie (Rookie)

12. North Adelaide: Harrison Cumming (NSW Scholarship)
13. Eagles: Sam Martyn (NSW Scholarship)
14. Port Magpies: Aaron Duncan (NSW Scholarship)
15. Norwood: Simon O’Brien (NSW Scholarship)

At least Drummond got his wish of getting a Crows player, even if it wasn't Lee. Lee will fit in well at Sturt though! :)

Interesting they already pick up the NSW Scholarship players. Presumably that means that when they come to the Crows/Power (assuming they do) the clubs have them locked away.

Henderson at Centrals is interesting. They may be looking at another player who may not make it and are looking to scoop him up :o Hopefully he does make it though!

What's Glenelg's reserves side like? Will Donnelly get a game?

Rory at North :) Between him and Davis, looks like I'm a North supporter in 2009! My dad will be so pleased ;)

Smack at south, yeh :( Still, it didn't hurt Otten or Mackay! (Or Cook, hopefully) Who is South's tall forward?

A good club for him to go to. South need talls up forward and down back.

They have Warren, Cockshell and now McKernan to patrol the forward 50. Others play up there but I cant recall any with any great height.

Because Gaelic is closer to footy than basketball is.
Yes but we're not talking about a guy who's never played footy before. Henderson played footy up until 4 or 5 years ago and only gave it away to focus his efforts on basketball.

YOUNG! :D

Was hoping for Lee but any Crows player was fine by me. Very happy with Young you beauty!!! :thumbsu:

Would think a strong bullocking KPP who can play both ends of the ground would suit your needs perfectly :thumbsu:

It will be very interesting to see where they play him!

The Crows have said they intend for him to be a defender but if he goes to Norwood and plays well up forward I doubt very much that they would be disappointed :p

How will Lee figure into Sturt's plans? Excuse my ignorance but is that a good fit for him?

I would just think he was best available. Huge drop in ready-made talent from that point onwards! I imagine they'd play him in reserves to start. At the senior level he'd have the best shot in the backlines in 2009 at least.

Yeah Sturt were a little light on down back last year. Hopefully the boy can play a part in the league this year.

YES! Sloane to North:D

I was expecting him to be the only Crows player who could be picked up by them.

But the Scholarship players. Sam Martyn is OK, Ill be happy for him as long as WWT dont improve to the ways of the earlier part of this decade.

Aaron Duncan at Port.. Well at least I have a reason to take interest of what 1 player does when the roosters play them

From the selections of non AFL scholarship players. I would only make 1 change. switch Donnelly and Henderson.

I'm not sure it matters where Aaron Duncan gets drafted atm, since he is still anticipating Santa coming this Thursday.

The good thing about Mckernan going to South is he will play league from round 1, will be thrown in the deep end and get some huge jobs. It certainly worked for Otten last year.

Don't have any problems with this.

SMack to Souths certainly doesn't trouble me, all of our interstaters who have headed there recently have seemed to settle in well ie VB, Mackay, Cook and Otten.
