Apparently French played in South reserves on the weekend but did not do much at all. Shane Bond will probably be called up to the Magpies seniors after two solid displays in the last two weeks in the reserves. Kouloriotis has seemed to fallen off the face of the earth as i havent seen or heard anything about him for ages.
Ackland only played the first half yesterday and had good figures. Harwood has really stamped his claim for a Power spot up forward with a dominating display up forward. He has turned the corner since going the the magpies. Brogan was playing well until he sprained his ankle. Lockwood has also put notice up to selectors with a strong showing. Bassett should be called up.
If i was a selector id fit Harwood and Bassett into the side this week a sboth Woody and Bass can play forward or Back and can cover the loss od Cockatoo and possible loss of Wakelin or Kinger. Cornes had his usual strong game as well (Kane that is) so he may get a call up
