McIntyre played well on Justin Westhoff. Westhoff looked a threat all night but McIntyre did well to hold him to 8 kicks 4 marks and 3.2. Along with Ben Hart he set up a lot of play from defence into the middle as well, it wasn't his fault that once North got to the centre of the ground there was nowhere to go.

From his first game in Rnd 7 or 8 last year when he shut down Clive Waterhouse after being moved onto him in the 2nd quarter he has looked so comfortable playing a key defensive role on the oppositions best forward.

McIntyre sounds like he played pretty well. Surely he'll be upgraded.

Vince looked like he starred again, has to be pressing for a spot.

All our guys seem like they did pretty well yesterday.

Re: Crows in the SANFL - Round 1

Tippett looks ok long way to go but is promising his second efforts just like Huddo's

Second efforts were good, looks keen to get involved in the game. Struggled to have an impact though. I can only remember one mark and he would have only got a handful of touches. Only playing against DeLuca (who is soft and stinks) and Feast whose body is held together by the medical staff so I agree, probably a long way from a senior game for Adelaide.
