I am not a huge fan of Gill, but I was impressed with his game. I have never seen him live so it was great to see the way he moves.

He is a hard worker, chases hard and is not afraid to follow his man down into defence. At one stage he started the counter attack down in the back half, ran to half forward, contested, brought the ball to ground to then take the next mark just outside the square and slotted the goal.

I did not see him get outmarked once, he either took the grab or it came to ground.

!

Hinge was quiet. Looked a nasty knock in the throat, again though following coaches instructions (bloody Mikan!!).

Pardon?

I hope that's a joke?

Are you saying Mickan instructed Hinge to run into Sellar's elbow at a ball up?

Or are you saying that the Crows players should ignore their coaches instructions and stay away from any hard ball gets?

PS if you are joking, sucked me in.

On the ABC coverage at 3 qtr time Mikan made it clear he wanted a third player up around the ruck contests, probably to nullify Maric. This is how he injured himself, going for the ruck contest. Ok so not 100% Mikans fault, but still bloody Mikan!

26 possessions & 21 hitouts sounds like a dominant performance in the magoos (granted, stats can be deceiving). Surely The Meese is due for a promotion to the Norwood seniors now?

You'd think so after their thumping from Sturt.
Plus Feast was BOG or near to, so someone in Norwood ruck land was not performing.

I said I thought Minson was better in the second half ;)

Love to see the breakdown 1/4 by 1/4

Minson was rated in the best players just ahead of Meesen (and ressies bp's are usually from the club) ... so you have support.

he's a superior talent, better for the run. should be in the seniors next week.
