Any word on how Meesen went in the ressies?

I saw a bit of the third qtr and the whole last qtr, and he went..ok.

Pfieffer was good. Excellent first qtr, was a little quite in the second, but picked up again in the second half. Took a couple of contested marks.

Aish was pretty good. Came and went, but showed promising glimpses.

In the words, or word, of Ric Flair.... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

SANFL's "in form" side has been smashed by an even 10 goals in front of a great crowd of over 7000 (well done to those of us who froze out there). As I mentioned earlier to the Norwood fans, you have to do a lot more than stop Chambers kicking a bag, you did not so you lost. I thought Daz was alright, obviously not match fit but he will be soon enough, Ill get hammered for this but he could be in trouble at years end unless he puts some consistant footy together, which hurts me to say because he is a close friend. One player who impressed me for us was 1 of our former rookies in Michael Bratton, very good game and has had a great month or so.

GO YOU BLUES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if Jesse Aish would be on the Crows' radar in this year's draft? Sounds like he has good skills and knows how to kick a goal. Late bloomer?

?? Needs to learn how to kick left foot...unless he was lairising. Tried to kick outside his right foot to kick at goal when running on the natural left foot angle. He did play well and he is the ''right height'' unlike Gallagher who has skills but will be deemed to short

I have never thought Jesse's kicking has been his strong suit but tonight he did show a fair bit unlike most of the redleg passengers..... waits for Drummond to start a "Draft Aish" thread.

First up congratulations to those who went tonight...gee it was kn cold. The grandstands were empty but still a good crowd turned up...4-6000 is my guess.

Let me say to quote Andrew Lloyd... Bugger the silver lets go for Gold Sturt. Top spot is available if you keep playing with that intensity and skill level.

Hurse(20) was brilliant across half back flank...and thats where Norwood continually fell down. Feast is having a feast of touches. Just knows where to be.

AFC boys... well I didnt notice them a great deal and truth be told I was looking through double blue eyes. I tend to focus on ''my team'' rather than trying to sort out the opposition unless they dominate. Gallagher was hard at it for Norwood and must have had a lot of touches. Vlatko? Who was he.

Pfeiffer surprised me..he isnt that tall but he is a good tackler. I didnt notice Campbell

Both teams seemed to struggle a bit with the cold and the fumbles were on.

Overall another good game of football and made better by scoring a 6 pack off my brother and Sturt winning easy

Anyway, Pfeiffer played across the HFF for the majority of the game. He had 7 possessions in the first term and 6 in the second. I thought he was one of our better players in the first half, not that there were too many to choose from. Midway through the second quarter he took a great contested mark on the HFF and turned on his left boot and found a teammate in forward 50. I don't think he had a touch in the third and was shifted down back for the last 10 minutes. His last quarter was good and he probably had about 5 possessions, all of which would've been contested.

He didn’t have a great game but his attack on the ball was a highlight. He constantly threw himself at the contests and half of his possessions would’ve been contested. Probably around 20 touches I would imagine.

Didnt he ?? well that would be why I didnt see him during the game then. Maybe he would have made 10 goals difference hey Drummundo

Sturt fans crack me up. Their bandwagon looks in full swing again. Worse then Eagles/North fans!

Stupid ****ing Norwood played like shit, ruined my birthday weekend ****ers. Oh well I wont remember it anyway my mates decided to help my suffering and lets just say Punchy is a little leg less (HA HA HA HA!) right now! :D:thumbsu:

I didnt notice the "100 goal hero" Chambers either until well into junk time in the last quarter. :thumbsu:
Number 7 in your Budget

Least you have one thing to look forward this year

Thats next years team :thumbsu:

And we still won, gee what does that say for your mob of rabble that played tonight, forget there was other players out there ?? Its funny, you pay out the leading goalkicker in the game and the comp and you lost by 10 goals.

Speaking of legless. Were you the guy who fell in the pond and got covered in duckshit?

Duckpond?!?!!? Nah I was out on the oval afterwards with my Norwood and Sturt  mates having a good time kicking footy until the fat ass Weslo police decided to be the fun police.
