Yesterday was an absolute embarrassment but I will try and remember how the Crow listed lads played, I had quite a few drinks to try and burn away the depression.

Perrie - where do I start? Neil Craig demanded that he was played in defence which is where he started. Why the **** would he do that? Why the hell would Perrie play in defence for the Crows? He started loose at centre half back which was ridiculous, and he mentioned to a few lads at pressos that he felt very uncomfortable, he was 'lost' there. Once he moved forward he was good in a shit team, kicked 3 goals I think and even took a decent pack mark which he converted from.

Gill was average, not the same Gilly which dominates Port and even made simple mistakes.

McIntyre's form since coming back from injury has been poor, it seems as if he's forgotten how to play footy and looks a shadow of the bloke who was on the verge of making his AFL debut earlier this year. He has fumbled the ball a lot in the past fortnight and I pray that he regains form and confidence soon.

So the message to Craig would be:

1. Play Perrie ahead of Gill.
2. Perrie should play as a forward not as a defender.

Geez, we may as well give up on the finals if Craig lines Sarge up on Pavlich!

Agreed, there’s no way Meesen only had 12 possessions; would've been about 15. The Advertiser’s stats are never accurate anyway. Pfeiffer’s last half was every bit as good as his first so there’s no way he only had 9 possessions after half time. Anyway Pfeiffer was awarded the Legs best and rightfully so. :thumbsu:
I have proof.

James Sellar (Glenelg):
K: 6
H: 1
M: 7
Hit Outs: 9
Tackles: 3

James Sellar got 2 holding the ball decisions his way, and obviously had 2 kicks from it.

According to this stats he had 7 possessions and 7 marks.

So The Advertiser stats are a steaming pile of shit.

John Meesen Fan Club. The original and the best.

He was absolutely superb. The ruck work was particularly good, considering it is often cited as his weakness. He isn't afraid of putting his body into the contest and really takes it out of his opponent.

Although Maric was great, Meese needs to be released soon. I'm surprised that Huddo's body has held up all year. It might even be a possibility that he'll be rested to give Meese a run. Perhaps a bit wishful, but it would be an absoltue travesty to let Meese go before getting him out on the ground in the hoops.
