All I heard was that the Bays won by 13 points. Hopefully someone else can fill us in on how our boys went.score?
How is Sellar going?
I hope Meesen did well
For those who said Darren Pfeiffer’s place on the list was in jeopardy, then they will surely shut up now. He was brilliant today, finishing with about 30 possessions and kicking a lovely snap goal with a minute remaining. Played across the HBF and did it brilliantly. He was easily the Legs best as he was prepared to back himself in heavy traffic and he ran hard and provided plenty of rebound while shutting down his opponent. Well done Darren, quite comfortably Norwood’s best.
Reports on the others coming shortly.
Yes but he was that good today.Consistency – let’s see him do it again next week and then the week after that and after that......
One good game in 6 week will put his place on the AFC list in jeopardy.

He does and he definitely has the talent. He's had a horror run and as long as he strings a few games together he’ll show everyone what he’s capable of. And I hope now that he's played a terrific game off the HBF they will leave him there and allow him to gain some consistency. What we need to see from him is a run of games like that to tell the world that he is deadly serious about wanting to be an AFL footballer.
Agreed with your comments.Meesen was flipping SUPERB
Dominated the ruck, carved up around the ground, kicked at least one goal and it was a ripper.
All this while spending sizable portions of time on the bench.
I haven't seen him play a great deal, enough, but not a lot. That was easily the best I've seen him play. I cant remember him clearly losing a ruck contest. What a star performance
Pfieffer was great
Sellar was a bit unlucky as he really worked hard. Skills let him down on occassions, but that was the best effort I've seen him put in.
Hinge - can't say I noticed him. I'll preseume from this he wasn't very good.
Glad to hear about the Norwood boys doing well, especially Meesen, was getting a bit worried about him for a while, it would be nice to see him push for AFL game soon
You know what; I’m so fed up with the AFC being so conservative. Meesen played a great game today and sooner or later we HAVE to play him or else he’ll leave without making his debut in 3 years with the club. I heard that out of the 2004 draft he’s the only member of the top 20 not to make his debut. Injuries and form have prevented this from happening, as well as the conservative nature of this club. That would then mean that someone will have to get dropped – and we all know that never happens.![]()

I think if Meesen plays another good game next week, then role the dice and just let him make his debut. Some will scream that he doesn’t deserve it, but I don’t want to hear it, we need to give him a go and see what he’s capable of. I would hate to see him traded to a Victorian club and let them discover his talent on the bis stage. I want to see him given a chance with the Adelaide Football Club before it’s too late.
ROLE THE DICE FOR ONCE!
