I saw three Crows players in action today. Ed Curnow and James Sellar for the Glenelg reserves and Andy Otten in South's league team.

Dave Mac is on standby then?

Sorry I haven't been keeping up with the news for the last few days.

sounds like Walker is ripping it

4 goals to Walker only 2nd term and he has also missed a couple from 50m

I think "was" is the best word - listening to the radio they commented many times Walker didn't see the ball in the 2nd half at all - not sure if that is a result of Norwood stopping or an example of the reasons he hasn't been picked for the Crows

Otten - good game today at the Bay

Andy Otten - 26 possessions, some good marks, excellent left foot goal from 40 metres out.

I hadn't really seen him play before, but it was a good all-round game....some clearances, some timely marks (seems to read the play well), reasonable rangy runner (though not lightening quick). I was surprised the distance he gets with his kicks too.

Negatives: could've done more with the ball a few times, so maybe his decision-making needs to be worked on, but he looked a good SANFL player and with his age there's plenty of upside.

The Crows obviously think he's close to another chance at AFP level.

Can't blame Walker in the last quarter we were an absolute disgrace in the last quarter completely stopped and let Centrals run all over us. The quarter that will cost us a finals spot and yeah I am mad right now

PS was funny to see a Centrals defender hit Walker late thinking it would put him off for the rest of the game, wonder if that idiot realises he has been playing mens footy for a few years already.

No one will stop Centrals now.

I've been distinctly unimpressed with Centrals. Not sure a win over a team that seems to be prone to leave the ground early (or not show up at all) at times, is going to change that.

Even after todays loss/utter debacle (it was probably coming) I can't see it not being a Sturt/Glenelg final.

I tend to agree Rory, and they still have guys like Chris Gowans and Steinberner in the ressies, I said that to my old man today, Norwood had a few injuries and we have to call up 18-21 year old guys with limited experience, Centrals get injuries they call up guys like this.

Still just hoping for a Norwood finals appearance this year, five long years. :(

To those fans that haven't watched SANFL for a while (Tiger fans) you write of the Dogs at your peril.

Of course. They've got obvious experience/pedigree.

However, I still don't think they'll make the GF.

Speaking of Sturt, how many did Chambers kick? I heard he had 10 at one stage.

They now have the belief after pulling two games like that out in a row, believe me today was a turning point of the season.

Fair enough I will still be more than willing to be on the fact they will, they just have the knack and peaking at the right time and being able to pull out wins like today while they are getting flogged on the track getting ready for finals.
