I was at the Glenelg v South game yesterday and found this out: apparently if an AFL player plays two consecutive games in their SANFL club reserves they can (if they wish) request a transfer to another SANFL club. Apparently this is what Willits did to move from Glenelg to West. Sellar is now in this position.

That's not quite correct re Willits.
At the time he moved to West, he had only played one trial game in the Reserves for Glenelg, and hadn't played an official Reserves match for Glenelg for over a year.
