Maric was alright today but I wouldn't have said he was great. Others my disagree.

Massie was best on ground, Rocket Campbell woud have been in the best half dozen. Pfeifffer didn't play due to the flu.

Maric was barely sighted, he's really struggling. :(

Massie was brilliant, absolutely brilliant. :thumbsu: Campbell did some nice work on the wing. Very disappointed that Pfeiffer didn’t play.

He would have still been in your best 3 on ground though, wouldn't he Drummond?? :)

So 2 good weeks in a row for Massie. Perhaps a better option than JT.

Would barf if we dropped Jason Torney for Kris Massie.

Torney is class, Massie makes up the numbers

Torney puts his body on the line, Massie is butter..... Maybe a bit harsh but you get the idea :thumbsu:

No I don't, are you suggesting Massie is a soft player and doesn't put his body on the line? I agree Torney is a better option and Massie may not be an in and under type but if you think Massie does not put his body on the line you know nothing about football.

If Mattner is cited and suspended this week, Massie might just get a game this week.

He won't let us down if he does - he's a 100%er.

Big call macca!

I think if Mattner is rubbed out then Roo will come into the side and Torney will take Mattner's spot in the backline.

IMHO, there will be two changes this week

IN: Ricciuto, Maric
OUT: Mattner (susp), Griffin (inj)

Assuming of course that Reilly is OK :)

Great call. Massie soft. The guy gives 100% whenever he steps out on the field.

Maric looks completely out of sorts at the moment; he’s really struggling. If he is to come in next week I wouldn’t be expecting too much.

We don't really have any other options for the ruck though as Meesen is ****ed.

Now Now RL...take a look at it from this side of the lens ;) :D

I am aware that Maric is struggling which is not unexpected considering the very interupted PS but we really have no one else that can come in and be a back up ruckman. Unless Craig think that McGregor can do the job as a back up ruckman. An option I am not thrilled about.

I suspect Maric has to come in simply because we got no other legitimate options.

Anyone see Ivan today? Macca19, Punchy, Drummond?

I have a feeling he may be needed next week:(

Nope sorry Punchy strggling with a bit of flu at the moment so no going out this weekend. From what I heard on the radio Massie was very good as Drum has already mentioned. Just a pity Norwood never seem to be on TV anymore so we can all see them play.

Reilly trained this morning Stiffy. He'll be okay. :)

I know Tippett hasnt played much footy in his life but i think at this stage if hes fit he would be a better option than Maric at the moment. Maric only had 3 possession for Port yesterday. I saw Tippett a couple weeks ago and his ruckwork is very good. He was very dominant with his tapwork and his around the ground work was reasonable as well. If Maric was playing well in the sanfl it would be a different story but by the sounds of things he is really struggling at the moment.

Except that Tippet is injured and didn't play yesterday ...

He missed this week with a shoulder injury.

If he hadn't it would be very tempting to give him a run.

Maric is doing zero around the ground at the moment looking at the stats, but he did get 13 hitouts against Norwood this week.

It'll probably be Maric.

Two weeks ago he injured his shoulder early in the second quarter against Norwood but came back on to play the majority of the second half so i was surprised when i found out he wasnt going to play yesterday against Sturt. I reckon he will be right for this week though. Unfortunately though i dont think the crows will select him and he will be lining up for the bloods.

They said on the news he'll be having surgery IIRC:confused: Surely surgery rules him out for both the Crows and the Bloods. Also IIRC he was only injured last week?
