Whilst on the topic, Gold Coast r2 no.9 Princess Karen....should win, and the Bailey/Whitely combo is always hard to beat there.

Will be having a double with Furio and Brom Felinity.

Other bet will be something each way on Swit. I have followed for a while and think tomorrow really suits at nice odds. Notice it has firmed from $34 to $11 on iasbet.

Also would be thrilled to see New Kid in Town running a nice stayers race, even though he is hugely disadvantaged at the weights.

Race #1: Sun Glazed
Race #4: Laura’s Charm
Race #5: La Salle
Race #9: Fearless Waters

Some good value bets there with decent odds and all big chances.

My thoughts on tommorow...

Race 1 - Motown Melody's first prep included a win over Satin Robes, and some place tussles with the handy Cancanelle - two solid winners in the last month or so. Commands filly who obviously has a bit of talent and 1200m should be ok but took a while to get going in her first prep and might need a run or two. Quoted odd's of 9-1 however, and from barrier 2, might be a good sneaky start to the day. Fantastic Choice is the popular pick based on a very good debut win. Liger is a Moonee Valley specialist albeit a Friday Night class horse only so far, shocking run last start but may just give you juicier odds tommorow if youre still keen on him. 8-5-1

Race 2 - If you haven't seen I Got Chills race before then you'll be in for a treat tommorow if she is sound after injury. She will lead at the turn no doubt a good 2 lengths in front, the put another 2 length gap on them before the winning post. Petite Briefs and Jesterchine are of equal ability and will be the ones chasing tail. 2-5-3

Race 3 - Mind Your Head looks to be the class horse of the race and will probably start fav accordingly. Kipconi look suited for a race like this from the barrier 1 and is down in weights from previous runs, as is Surely You Jest who has ran solid races against similar class to this with more weight.
4-9-8

Race 4 - *Brom Felinity is the best mare in the race but whether she is in top gear yet remains to be seen, if she is in the Top 4/5 just before the corner I would be confident she can power on to win. Like it Is and Brockmans Lass round out what should be a pretty easy tri. 1-5-2

Race 5 - Casino Prince and Ollie to edge Furio here who is a bit up and down. La Salle looks a promising one coming out of the MV night circuit and Ill also have a bit of loose change on Electronic Million for a place who is a blackbooker Ive followed. 3-2-5

Race 6 - Polar Bear has to win, very weak race of stayers and a handful of distance suited - Starzando the best of that lot. Desert Master likes it further but has the natural ability to finish in the placings. 1-7-4

Race 7 - Same as the last Sprint G1 here - Miss Andretti wins, only Cocinero is Magnus and Minson is Ticklish. 9-5-6

Race 8 - Going for an upset win here with Indeliable as Im punting Universal Queen wont hold form based on her history. Cancanelle is better than last start and Gate 1 gives her a nice shot. Anamato is classy but will be need to be ridden forward as possible on the smaller circuit, gate makes it difficult though. 9-7-1-4

Race 9 - One of my blackbookers Fluffy Courage is in, formline is not too flash but has a 5kg weight drop on last 2 runs, one of which was very good (one very poor when she over-raced and died in the straight). If she is sitting back and something goes hard in front we are in with a show. Fidemus and ReadyforCatherine to round it out. 3-6-2

Have a good day and weekend :thumbsu:

Good work. Good luck. :thumbsu:

I haven't looked too closely at the form for tomorrow, reckon it might be one of those days to pay close attention to things in the mounting yard on course. Dare say quite a few horses wont be too happy with the conditions.

A few I'll be looking at closely at the Valley tomorrow...
not sure who'll get my cash yet.

3 - 8 Surely You Jest
4 - 2 Brockman's Lass
6 - 1 Polar Bear
7 - 9 Miss Andretti
8 - 4 Universal Queen
9 - 2 Readyforcatherine or 5 McFly or 9 Lady Lisbon

Should be a couple of winners in that lot though.

Good luck :thumbsu:

Disclaimer : Sorry for not providing required odds..
but if you don't like it get stuffed!! :D

my bets for this wkend:

I Got Chills

Tingirana (at Cheltenham)

Eremein

Lad of the Manor

Good luck with Eremin

I think coming back and down a distance it might struggle and need the cobwebs blown off

Lockyer top stuff :thumbsu:

Hawk, I am also on Polar Bear and Brockmans Lass

I've got quite a few I'm on today.

Cheltenham
2-5 Padtheway

4-9 Klaepeda - Ran on well at its last run and 3 back it beat a horse I rate highly. Great value.

5-3 Desert Dane

Moonee Valley
3-4 Mind Your Head - Stable rates it highly and can run them off their feet

5-4 Ambitious General

Rosehill
5-3 Calidan

9-4 Sermon - Will be a better horse this preparation. Whatever he does he will improve on.

Newcastle
5-4 Clouseau - Beasley rode him in trackwork in the past and said he feels like a very special one

Bloody sportingbet! Didn't transfer my funds so I couldn't put money on Sun Glazed, and I couldn't be stuffed going to the TAB this early.

Had a good feeling it was a good thing today too. Anyone else take my early tip?

One is Hayes,one is Freedie's.

Lee was on radio yesterday moaning about how close GM is in the weights to BS considering BS has already won a Gp race.
Whether you believe him???

Thanks mate, i though GAmble me was HAyes....

Shall be an interesting race then, though those odds i was tlaking about and that i saw in the paper and nowhere near it... Currently 4.2 odd

Looks like most of us were onto Mind Your Head.

Have been trying small First Fours bets so far and had no luck. First race was a write off, 2nd race I had them all but in wrong bloody order (needed IGC to finish 2nd) and that race totally overlooked Lord Benbara.

If Brom Felinity stays at good odds of $3.50-$4 for the next Im cutting the crap and heading down to the TAB and doing a DJ and smassssshing it. ;)

Yep,was a strong win & well supported.
BF has also been well backed, tote might hold up but its around $3 IAS

Not much talk of the main one in Sydney where we get to see the big boys come out....

Wont be going anywhere near the two light weights believe the older horses will come through, currently choosing betwwen Desert War, Eremien and COnfectioner...

Eremein mate, class horse along with Desert War, but he has a poor 1st up record so gotta stick with Eremein

Mmm,did shift out badly.

Thats how much notice you should take of Freedie
