from Meltzer:
Jim Ross returns to WWE as the announcer for Saturday Night's Main Event.

Wonder if they're gonna have a storyline explanation for this, since JR was "fired".

Hi, I'm not very smart.

I have Foxtel on sattelite and I can't seem to find Main Event.

Can anyone help? (with the program, not the dumbness)

I think it's the Fashion TV channel for Analogue subscribers (ch 46?). Does that help?

Thats good news. i thought i'd have to pay for it.
Few questions tho: How often is Saturday Night Main Event on? Weekly, Monthly?
Are they new matches, not just replays of RAW or Smackdown Matches?
And if they have title matches and stuff, does it change RAW/Smackdown titles?

Vince McMahon said something about it on RAW this week. He said something like JR would love to be calling HBK beating the hell out of Shane McMahon and they would allow him to except that it would be Shane McMahon beating the hell out of HBK.

At this stage, this SNME is a test run. So whether NBC (in the US) will show more depends on ratings. Back in the day, SNME was on quite regularly but this was during the time of fewer PPVs.

Yes.

Was I the only one who thought the coverage was crap on Monday. The audio was very laggy and the visual wasn't as clear as it usually is. Wasn't to impresed with it to be honest.

I agree, I thought the picture was a bit "grainy" and not the best quality. I was surprised that it started off with Tag match first. After that it was an hour of BullSh*t and then the HBK/McMahon match appeared to be a bit rushed. I am not sure what to make of the event. Overall, I give it about 6/10.

It was OK, the superplex off the ladder by Michaels & McMahon was pretty good though. Nice to see Cena get booed again, I notice that WWE play his music really loud after his wins, I wonder why ...

I can't believe they haven't turned him heel already, people would love to hate him and he would really take off.

Would have been nice to have see a babyface/comedic Edge of the past go against a heel John Cena, would be a very entertaining fued IMO.

Or bring back Y2J, let him do his stuff and eventually win it off Cena after a long 2-3 month fued, that's what I'd like to see

All the smoke in the arena didn't help matters.

Heels don't sell as much merchandise, traditionally. (I guess the nWo would be the main exception to this)

I know this is WWE's main objection, which is a shame, coz it can get in the way of putting out the best and most exciting shows they can.

I guess if Cena wasn't selling so much merch to the kiddies and girls, he'd be a heel by now, surely.

It was probably almost as good as your average Raw or Smackdown in the late 90's-early 2000's. All the big stars were there, no real losers like Snitsky, Mark Henry etc.
