Race 1 at Ascot

No 6 Mythical man is currently paying $9 on supertab which I think is great value. Won a trial by along way and then in first race start finished 5th. I dont have any inside info on it, but for me $9 is great value (30mins till race starts) not sure what its paying anywhere else.

I honestly don't know, 58kg will be tough, i'll probably have a small bet if it's 2.5+ mostly barracking money.
Best horse in race by a mile but over the mile? we'll see..
Was it what.
I wasn't going to back at 1.80.

Top fluc anywhere was $1.82 after the late scratching.
I laid it at $1.78,it was never going to lose
Big win but I really hope they arent serious about the Cox plate.

I was way off on the odds, one of those wait and see races.
Bad luck on the lay, but i wouldn't rule out the Cox Plate... i'm a believer.

Let's see how it goes away from Doomben.

Nah,I will always lay a horse 1st try over a trip at those odds
Not much to lose & plenty to gain

He's very classy but some great sprinter/milers have been found wanting when the pressure goes on in a Cox Plate. Our Maizcay won the C Guineas & ran near fave, gone at the school.Luskin Star,Redoutes Choice.
I know he's an older horse but I still think theyre just being greedy.

Off to the Valley for the Inter heats

Im still not convinced yet, esp the Cox Plate call.
I wonder what Utzon would have done to Anwaar in the Villiers, if it had the nice even run that Natural Destiny had today. Don't hear many calling for Utzon in the Cox Plate.
Nice horse & it would be good to see another different stable in the limelight, but as I stated Im not convinced as yet & would prefer to see it stronger fields.

It was easy because it made it look easy. Wasn't easy before the race.
58kg wide barrier and up 300m was a good test & streeted them.
Agreed got to prove itself against the heavy hitters in Sydney & Melbourne.

I was in fact comparing the run Utzon had in the Villiers (overcame a massive hamper, with weight) & Natural Destiny had yesterday. I'm presuming you saw the Villiers? (which was a far superior race).
Just attempting to draw a parallel of the form via the runner up, & how the Cox Plate is still along way away for ND.

Yea fair enough from that point of view.
But to be fair to Natural Destiny, he created a nice even run and from what i've seen i don't think he would have too much trouble despatching of Utzon.
