Ok Kosi's suspension is over now. Maister's currently in the side but not really in great form . Its pretty safe to say that for the rest of the season at least one of them will be in our team.
Maister seems to have taken Kosi's spot. His output and polarising of some fans is at times a mirror image of Kosi's.
Kosi 'HAD' potential yrs ago. Maister looked like he 'HAD' potential recently , but now im not so sure.
Before you start to think im another grumpy supporter having a whinge about a player who is out of form, your wrong.
This is actually in support of the players with heaps of potential who usually fails to deliver.
Im just using Kosi for an example , i honestly love the big fella and will be sad when he retires.
Its amazes me how many people complain about players like Kosi or Richard Tambling or Bret Thorton. Players who have hung around for years without setting the world on fire.
It aint the players fault. Its the clubs. Complain about the club, not the individual.
Its probably fair to say that besides from those famous ' four games in a row' in 2005 when Kosi was on fire, he hasnt really lived up to the expectations of a number 2 draft pick.
My point is, if he can irk his way through nearly 200 games without being a consistent player, frustrating the crap out of people , then good on him.
He has a job with great pay, and he goes to work with his mates everyday. Why the heck should he walk away from all that just cos 70% of supporters think hes crap.
If a footy club wants to keep blokes on their playing list for 10yrs on big money just cos they are a 'Handy' player then thats bad management by the club and bloody good luck for the player.
I hope Kosi gets to play those 3 more games he needs for the magical 200.
If it takes 3 games off Maisters career Tally it isnt going make much difference.
