To balance out some of the crankiness and pretty unnecessary vitriol that is seeping into certain threads on here (who would've thought a thread that involves rating players and teams would devolve into this ), I offer the opportunity for posters to say one nice thing about an opposition team (or teams, you young go-getter, you!).

We all love being put on the spot with similar challenges at family birthdays etc, so why not let the entire league know just how fond you are of your opponents. Backhanded compliments will be met with the full force of my displeasure.

I'll start us off

Baghdad Bombers
I find myself enjoying the chaotic nature of their match threads. One of the most passionate groups in the Sweet FA.

Coney Island Warriors
beez candidates and friendly, funny posters everywhere. Add a heap of value to the SFA through various media and administrative threads.

Dragons FFC
Lovely folks who are always fun to post with. Include some of my favourite contributors in the league.

East Side Hawks
Resurgent club featuring a great mix of SFA veterans and diverse contributors. Tarks.

Fighting Furies
One of the most consistently funny groups of posters in the league. They've recruited tremendously in recent times.

Gold City Royals
Underrated mix of talent and some of the best branding in the league.

Gumbies FFC
Quiet achievers that are always a pleasure to talk to. Have some significant contributors to the overall quality of the league.

Las Vegas Bears
Some very active contributors and a great captain. Another team that has done some strong recruiting recently.

Mount Buller Demons
Arguably the most consistently strong and engaged SFA club. Terrific posters everywhere you look.

Ophidian Old Boys FFC
Another one of the league's most active clubs – they get involved in everything media-related, are funny and I love how they've created their own identity across BF.

Roys FFC
Tradition, stability and decorum – the Roys are always a pleasure to chat to.

Sin City Swamprats
While they've had a tough season, the three-time premiers have a rich history and still have a handful of really good posters. Hope to see them bounce back.

Wonders FFC
Another club with an extremely strong history and a great mix of posters. Absolutely loved their rebrand.

The Bombers give me posting stats, once reminded. They also throw my footy back over the fence when I kick it there.

The Dragons give me posting stats. And great pain, but also posting stats.

The Hawks give me posting stats. And a valuable lesson on rebranding.

The Furies give me posting stats when ShaunDuggan isn't on The Love Boat. And they took NaturalDisaster back.

The Royals give me posting stats. And occasionally the icks, but that isn't nice so I won't type that here.

The Gumbies give me posting stats. And dreams of spearmint milk.

The Bears give me posting stats. And cocaine. I love those guys.

The Demons give me posting stats. And away wins. And a new admin.

The Old Boys give me posting stats when Braklet is around. They also give me a pat down whenever I visit, along with proof positive that the sim is a crayon.

The Roys give me posting stats. And a restaurant made of Minecraft.

The Swamprats sometimes give me posting stats. And a reason to be thankful for what I have.

The Wonders give me posting stats. I have to poke them with a stick first. They also gave me the stick.

Warriors after 21 seasons have never won a premiership,
Ophidian Old Boys in 4 seasons have won 2 premierships.

So the nice thing I want to say is to the Warriors; keep your chin up and keep trying, one day you might actually win something worthwhile.

Bombers - You can't complain that they don't engage and their Friday night radio is certainly enjoyed by many

Warriors - Some of the funniest posters and best shoopers in the league

Dragons - Where else can you discuss Hass vs Shepard with an expert

Hawks - Feels like posting with the Demons for some reason

Furies - Got a really active bunch of fun posters this season

Royals - You never know what's going to be brought up next which makes for an interesting week

Gumbies - We had the Otter cup thing the other season and a couple of my favourites to post against play here

Bears - without the bears the Dees wouldn't have so much white bread material to annoy the league with

Old Boys - Great engaged group for some good laughs

Roys - Roys vibe is good vibe

Swamprats - Going through some changes but still enjoyed our thread this season, looking forward to what they bring next

Wonders - Our foundational enemies, our threads are always fun and there's a lot of history to keep things moving
