Surely I can't be the only one who thinks the club isn't ruthless enough to do this. Pruess, Lycett, Darcy get one of them.

Some worrying signs with Sauce, has been taken to the cleaners by the top ruckman, is becoming a liability in these games. Usually responds, but hasn’t happened yet. Was woeful today.

He'll be up against a bottom tier ruckman soon and all thoughts of a form slump will be erased.

the guy has probably been playing injured for a long time and has never been afforded a rest for years. it was bound to completely wear him out, especially with the rise of the athletic ruckman that just makes him look like he's in his mid 40's. loved his work in the past, he has been an absolute pillar of the club, but he needs a month off. like pretty much just completely off football.

He stuck up his hand 2 games earlier than he should have after his ankle injury in 2016. He also pushes to ruck as deep forward as our goal square with JJ acting as a ruck rover. Sauce is responsible for his own mess.

ROB is a good ruckman and his ground play has improved significantly.

I'm pretty sure after the years of development in our system that he will get first crack at replacing Sauce. Why else would we have invested in him?

The trick will be managing the transition and getting it started sooner rather than later. Otherwise I've no doubt he will be on the radar of other clubs

It's time to play ROB for a few games. Give Sauce the week off, then make him find form in the sanfl.

According to this he wants years more than $ so there's way more risk for Adelaide than for us due to his history with injuries.

WA lad, if he goes anywhere it'll be to Freo minus Sandilands IMO.

I would say Ruckmen are probably the least likely to go home out of all the positions seeing there are more AFL quality ruckmen then ruck spots available.

*Billy Longer was pick 8. I think if you used pick 9 on someone and got Ben McEvoy's career you'd be reasonably content, think of how many busts there are every draft.

Campbell plays for the Bulldogs, apparently he got smashed in his exit interview last year and hasn't played at all this year. He actually had 72 hitouts in the VFL last week, but he's out of contract at the end of the year, probably won't command a huge salary or trade. His actual ruck work is pretty average and he doesn't have great numbers actually directing his taps to teammates.

McInerney plays for Brisbane, but he's actually in the main side at this point, so I doubt he'd be keen to compete with Sauce and Rob for a spot.

Soldo is Ivan Maric's cousin, plays for Richmond, he's really raw, but he's a basketball convert. He's also out of contract at the end of the year.

None of them are great options honestly, I would say Campbell is the most gettable, but at this point he is what he is.

Sauce is still a good ruckman on his day but the difference between his best and worst is growing. I wouldn’t give up on him contributing for the rest of this year, but we really do need to find a replacement for 2019
