ah i feel good for west ham getting on tv as me mate is a west ham man. Should be good but Liverpool should easily win.
On the other hand we have Newcastle v Middlesbrough in the Tyne-Tees derby on foxtel this week.
I have always loved the idea though of getting like a toon tv or any other team and this channel just shows all their teams games week in week out. How good would that be plus in a good world it would be free

Must be fun to be watching Liverpool at the moment. This season will give you everything from your past.
The first half of the season will remind you of the 80's when you used to win, the second half will remind you of the 90's when you struggled to make Europe.

Lovely, we get to see the attacking flair of Di Canio, Cole and Defoe as they mesmerise the week, second rate Liverpool defence and pile goal after goal. If West Ham don't reach double figures by half time I'll be bitterly disappointed.

You do realise that Europe doesn't start next year, and that they are actually playing games THIS year, during THIS season, where United are currently nicely placed.
We will be in the Champions League next year, have no fear. I mean, if we played in the UEFA Cup, we'd have to win the worthless cup, the not good enough to be in Europe cup and the FA Cup which you had two goalies in Henchoz.
Then celebrate the fact that we wern't good enough to win a real trebble and try and convince the world that it means something.
Oh wait, that's right, we did win a "real" trebble. You know, premiership, fa cup & champions league.
But that's ok, if you want to forget your teams "below par" performance in Europe by pretending that it all starts next year, you go right ahead.

Of course, selected reading only picks up that i was talking overall
We're 2nd in our group behind Valencia who are a class team and will advance to the next phase providing we get something from the Valencia game at Anfield or beat Basle in the final match.
It's hardly what you call "below par"... the one disappointing result was being held 1-1 at home by Basle but the other results were pretty much expected, losing away at Valencia and beating Spartak Moscow in both games.

Do you really want a history lesson on who has the most domestic titles? and who has won more in Europe? no you don't coz you know the answer.
Currently we are 8 points clear of you in the League and we are still a chance to qualify into the next stage of the champions league.
The cups that we won in 00/01 was not hailed as the greatest thing on earth, we just see it as a stepping stone to greater things.
