De Goey would need to be scoring really large to be worth the 200k investment. Not sure he will get enough game time in the middle to do so with Greenwood and Thomas more likely to get the midfield time that Beams previously had.

202k heck I forgot that he was a top 5 pick. Disregard. I've never paid more than 150k for a 1st year rookie before, probably won't start now. Unless he absolutely kills it in every NAB game & lines up in the centre for Rd1.

Didn't see the game.

Looked more than capable from that hit out although I would still be inclined to spend that amount of money on players that have been in the AFL system already (NVB, Newton, Biggs, Cripps etc etc.)

KK the only mid pricer I'll consider if he kills it in NAB, will downgrade one of my D1-D4 for him and use the cash elsewhere
145k in the bank to fix my rookies, if needed Tom Mitchell (if he isn't best 21), and if I decide against Franklin, to make him Bartel or Gray

That article also states that Martin has been carrying some hamstring injury too, however yeh an achilles is not nice.

Good defence, very good team in general especially considering you have cash in hand. Think there is an injury concern over Birchall and not 100% sold on Prestia and Salem but should do well, maybe consider 1 more proven scorer in midfield.



Thoughts? Main concern is not much in the salary cap. Considering Salem, martin and lids in fwd and Steven in mid. Went with Jacobs as well because stats show he likely won't lose many points under the new scoring system.

New revised team, only player I am iffy about is Whitecross but not sure what changes I should make to replace him.

Good team not sold on Bellchambers. I'd suggest Lever as a possible replacement for Whitecross, but i'd suggest you wait until teams are named for round 1 and keep an eye on who does well in the NAB challenge.

not sure about Langdon, think he's a little pricey, can't see him averaging 80+
