Teams SC 2016 - My Team (NAB Challenge)

Not sure mate. I'd prefer to stay away from the Suns, don't think these guys will have anyone really score well apart from Ablett (If he gets on the field). The one I would be intruiged by if anyone apart from those guys you mentioned is Matt Rosa a 380k Bck/Mid who may also find game time in the middle whilst those boys find their feet.

Sounding like a repeat of 2015 for the Suns already, not good for the game or their franchise.

Edit: I do have KK in my squad I just checked hehe..

Rosa does interest me but I'm thinking Hall already has the marks on the board with his finish last season, played fairly solid in NAB one in the same role. There is few forwards this year who will get substantial midfield minutes, I guess he's just in that group that's why he interests me.

Jesse Lonergan becomes very interesting also.

Very much so, I don't think you could run with both Lonergan and Hall though.

You could see them both taking a role of Swallow (Hall) and Prestia (Lonergan) they sort of fit the mould of each of those nicely. Lonergan scored 126 I think off 22 touches, 13 contested, that makes him very appealing, especially as a back. Hall averaged 130 odd for a large part of the back end of last year. That's really hard to look past, especially if those guys don't feature till round 10 and after.

still trying to figure out how i can get rocky/gray and Deledio

Richmond playing it very safe with Lids FWIW, easing him in for round 1. Will still end up top 3 forwards and in my team, but i'm not as desperate to start him as I was a month or two ago.

7 rookies is a lot?? Thats 15 keepers, no way anybody has 16 or more keepers.

I'll have 3 in the mids, 2 in defence, and either 2 or 3 up forward (depends on whether I need to drop a premium for the high price cash cows)... So that's 7 or 8 on field rookies. That'll be pretty standard I think

Take 1 of Shiel, Parker or Wines and use the cash somewhere else, and Ablett goes on watch and becomes an upgrade target

It's that time of year when everyone's team start looking exactly the same. I'm going against the norm, taking a few risks so my team isn't identical to everyone else.

I'm leaving out Fyfe - he never plays 22, so I'll start with Gray and hope he can push up to 115+

I'm tempted to leave out Goldstein now too. Jacobs averaged 120 over the last 9, fingers crossed he can go 115-120 and Goldy drops to the same. Gawn M2 for the massive upside there.

I'm almost considering leaving out Libba. Anybody got stats for how players score the year after doing an ACL and missing 12 months?

Wouldn't worry, you would've made a minimum of 10 trades by then.

There's always injury/ suspension that will stuff your team up also

Nothing for me to comment on. Pretty stock standard BF team. Not a fan of JoM, would need to show a bit before he makes it into my team. But no real worries. I'm not a fan of the rucks but can see why you've gone down that line.

Now please someone, post an awesome team that I can just copy......Can't be bothered anymore tinkering with mine. Please someone.

Lol was going to say a minimum of 20 but thought I should reign it in a bit didn't want to seem too keen.

I've just seen a bunch of teams having 6 and was annoying me
and i would say i have 13 keepers (although some of those will be moved for injuries/suspenstion/etc) then 2 flyers (one libra so a safe flyer cause everyone has him)

Solid team with 11 keepers imo.
I personally feel your midfield is a little deep, so I would drop crouch to a rookie which would give you around 400k. With the remaining $$$ I would look to either fill the team with more superpremos, I.e GAJ/Fyfe, upgrade lobbe to a keeper ruck or add a fourth premo defender.

If he hasn't trained for 6 weeks then yes.

My understanding was it has been a bit longer than that, although granted I have been overseas for all of this period and not following as closely as I usually would so I could well be wrong

Time to get very busy! Usually by now I've done at least 6-8 weeks research and am up to date with all the news. This year I've done nothing and know nothing so it could be a tough season.

Based on only gut feeling this is my first draft of a team. I haven't even looked at the bye rounds yet and the rookies are mostly place holders, but overall I like the look of it. Lots of mobility between lines and at least 12 keepers, possibly as many as 18 if players come on as expected. Having said that, it will probably look nothing like my final team.

Main concern is having all 3 of Libba, O'Meara and Crouch. One may well be downgraded to a rookie and another upgraded to a true prem.
