I didn't see it but it would be better than Toxics rabble.

I'm contemplating Fyfe to Hanners or Parker.Playing with my midfield. (its ok, washed my hands) I took out Fyfe and put in Parker, took Pendles out, and put in sidebottom. Doesn't look too bad and saved 100K

WOrth it or not?
It was general soreness from an intra-club game that held Brad back from NAB cup games. He is supposed to be 100% over his foot injury from last year. The way Matt has played in the first two NAB games, he could he easily go 90+ with that form, taking load off Thomo and taking up some of the load with the loss of Dangerfield. If you didn't watch the first 2 Crows NAB games, he was constantly coming out of packs with the footy and I thought was especially good against a very strong Freo midfield. He also had 440 metres gained from 67% game time, and had basically 2-1 kick to handball ratio. I know everyone is off him because of his price, but could be a massive break-out year for him. He has had a ripper pre-season and put on bullk. NAB 3 will decide it for me.Thanks for reply. I'm a pessamist so would naturally select lower averages. Libba could be almost 100, which M8 would be great and as toxic said, great cover for the General when he appears.
FWIW, what do you think M Crouch, or B Crouch would average this year. I really like M Crouch.
What is brads injury that is stopping him playing ATM?
Crows are my second team, so will enjoy seeing them play this year with some new faces and a new coach from the Eagles.![]()
Love this team - one of the better teams I've seen on here (once you fix your rookies with the spare $$$). Very similar structure to mine!View attachment 220969
I've been pretty set on this side for the majority of preseason, but came down to picking KK & Josh Kennedy or McVeigh & Parker. Probably won't be much in it but I can't trust KK just yet, think he'll hover around 80-85 and if starts well I'll upgrade to him.
Have 60k left over for rookie adjustments. Thoughts?

I realise that, but Fyfes backs got me concerned. Fyfe Pendles can always be looked at later, I dont think they will add that much value.Pendles Fyfe > Parker Sidebottom everyday of the week.

Parker > Hanneberry for mine.I'm contemplating Fyfe to Hanners or Parker.

Would I be nuts if I could have BOTH Crouch boys and LIbba? Its so crazy, it might just work!![]()
KP given your history, I'm not detecting any sarcasm.Sounds like a great idea.
I'm doing it at the moment. I understand the risks, but check the sort of risks that the very top guys have taken in the past, and the way their initial team looked. Guys are on Lonergan, Yeo, Robinson, Sheridan and the like this year, and I just don't get it. I don't rate any of those blokes, they are very average footballers in my opinion. Remember 2015 and Lumumba. Urrghhhhh. By the way, I have never finished top 200 or anything like that, so I could be way off ??Thanks for your time in replying.

Why are you not a fan of Lonergan. Showed great signs in the Nab. Big body and is now quite mature.I'm doing it at the moment. Depends on how much soap you used, lol. IMO you need at least one of the players you took out.Playing with my midfield. (its ok, washed my hands) I took out Fyfe and put in Parker, took Pendles out, and put in sidebottom. Doesn't look too bad and saved 100K

Like the midfield very muchWell this is as set as it gets. Still one or two sneaky options up my sleave. Will also need rookies to play round 1 obviously. 63k left.

Both great players whom I like a lot but you're trading 2 bonafide studs (captains) for $100k saving?? Sorry don't see the value. I'm not the slightest concerned with Fyfes back. Pendles you'll never buy cheaper.I realise that, but Fyfes backs got me concerned. Fyfe Pendles can always be looked at later, I dont think they will add that much value.
Parker and Sidey are at a very good price.
Same and I'm hoping like hell to keep it that way. Need rookies FWD and BACK to make it happen though.Like the midfield very much
Nice team. Like the structure. Hope Sheridan has a breakout year. Good effortView attachment 220816
Pretty happy with this now.
$197k left to sort rookies out. If necessary Libba will be turned into Mills to get more cash.
Thoughts?
OK. Kinda bad example. My opinion on Lonergan is more based on JS at the moment, but hopefully we get another look on Thursday night. Why are you not a fan of Lonergan. Showed great signs in the Nab. Big body and is now quite mature.
Awesome. So well balanced yet still with 12 keepers over 500kView attachment 220969

Played last 19 games of year in 2015 after finally getting past his injuries, and for the first time since being drafted has had a full pre-season, and dropped 5 newnes.OK. Kinda bad example. yes I know how you feel I'm in the same boat as you. I have exactly the same structure as you. If there isn't enough fwd and back rookies named for round 1 i will have to change my structure. Something I don't want to do on the eve of round 1Same and I'm hoping like hell to keep it that way. Need rookies FWD and BACK to make it happen though.
Now we play the waiting game.
Yet we do it every year.yes I know how you feel I'm in the same boat as you. I have exactly the same structure as you. If there isn't enough fwd and back rookies named for round 1 i will have to change my structure. Something I don't want to do on the eve of round 1

I have already traded Broad to Hartley.
Agree with Yeo, has so much potential. It's either Yeo, Rampe or Smith. And I don't like any of them.
