Why the **** is Short not in the ODI's, and for that matter, why is Maxwell in at 7? Surely he comes in before Stoinis (Who I don't rate)

And get Finch in at 4 or so and let Khawaja/Short open......Say, Marsh at 3, Finch at 4, Smaxwell at 5, Handscomb at 6, Stoinis at 7

Agreed, but they play with the same balls. Maybe he can take apart an attack, can't be any worse, and the exposure might show something particularly if selectors are looking at the Cup squad
