How many teams do we want in the league 18 or 20? We have a pool of 23 Top1k HoFers that I listed. Not expecting all 23 to want to be in though...

Are you thinking 1 x 18 or 2 x 10 teams?

I guess it depends on interest but one league of 18 gives me a better chance of not finishing last :moustache:

1 x 18 or even 1 x 20 my preferred options. I don't think I could live with the shame if the teams ranked 11-20 finished higher than 1-10 :$

Thanks heaps AB for organising , hopefully the league has a great result either structure run with.
New rules need a bit of thought , don’t mind them adding a twist or two .
Dawson a DPP lock , Marshall coming in for sure at some stage . Was starting O’Darcy but at least deserves a ruck rethink now , consulting Glen Morangie later , he is wise in these matters.

League is 20 Teams
Total Points will be used to separate teams on equal wins instead of %
H2H games: Rds 1-19
Finals: Rds 20-23

League Code Invites have been sent out to the 20 highest ranked teams on the list. Should any of those teams decline to participate then one or more of the teams ranked 21-23 will receive a Wild Card entry.

I understand it is a ’free’ competition to enter, but when I see repeated results like this, and Barry recently, I‘m not sure there is enough reward (spread) for size of the field that enters.

The league is down as 20 in the SuperCoach app but it looks like each league size will be ranked together..

Should we go to 18?

I've asked Pete from VS the question as to where the 20 team leagues will be bundled. Common sense says they should be bundled with the 18s since there is more teams not less, so it's not an advantage that say 6 or 8 team leagues have over 10s and 12, 14, 16s have over 18s and I wouldn't think there would be very many 20 team leagues? But then again, 20 team leagues could be listed at the very top of the rankings page if they list league ranks in numerical league order (largest to smallest leagues) which might look good for us lol

It's not ideal, but if the group consensus is to go from 20 teams to 18 teams then the 2 teams ranked #19 and #20 will be the ones that miss out unfortunately, as it's not a first come first serve kind of league.

I vote 18, keeps it in line with the majority of leagues.

Sorry for being a Kent to 19 and 20.

#20 has not joined yet even though they've been online on this site several times since I've sent the initial invites and a reminder invite so not so much of a problem. #19 BOMBERBLITZ on the other hand has already joined the 20 team league but would not receive a new invite if we go to #18 teams and I'm not happy about doing that to them.

You're the boss, I'll find a way to cope if you want to stick with 20.
