Just after some confirmation here fellas....

Top 5 Midfield rookies: Martin, Barlow, Trengrove, Jetta & Bastinac?

Martin is easily no. 1 but not sure about the rest. I have tentatively signed up Martin, Trengove, Barlow, Bastinic but that can change depending on team sheets.

I have Martin, Barlow starting with Trengove & Shuey on the pine. I am happy with this set up, infact I'm happy with my entire team except for defence.

I have Trengove, Martin, Barlow on the field and currently Shuey and Jetta on the pine.

Worried about others holding a spot, Howlett has a better chance than JKT. I like the mature aged so I went Jetta over Bastinac. If I had to choose one besides the 5 above I would go with Banner, but the extended bench was my concern, though I might swap Jetta for Banner before lockout.

I've got Ablett, Mitchell, Cooney, Martin, Barlow and Trengove with Lewis Jetta and Shuey on the bench. To me, the midfield seems the logical place to load up on rookies, there's not many obvious choices in the other positions (Rohan was one and he hasn't been picked), so you may as well splash out on your defence, ruck and forward positions. Just my opinion...

guys i also have a 3 rookie mid..i was wondering as i have barlow and martin already..but i reckon trengove is too expensive..

i need one more rookie to put on my field..who should i put?

Gor even better give me 5 rookies to put on my mid... Martin,Barlow is a must though...

Maybe Shuey or Bastinac.

Having said that if your starting three mids rookies i'd be picking Trengove

same with you mate, what you reckon out of Jetta and Banner? i'm leaning towards sticking with Jetta

At least wait until next week. Last year I traded in Cheney after his 100 in round one. Not making that mistake again.
