Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

Hille out for either Seaby or Nic Nat.
Either Mitch Robinson out for a young rookie or Tippet out for Dangerfield / R. Murphy.
Any advice would be appreciated :thumbsu:

Hille-Seaby/NicNat is just sideways trading based on the form of 2 games. I'm gunna stick with my Hille, hoping he can come good eventually, but If you have to make the trade, Seaby.

I don't get why everyone is jumping off Tippett. If Franklin got 53 and 29 would you jump off? If you want to trade Tippett, I'm leaning towards Danger, but that's mainly because Murphy is pretty injury-prone.

Mitch for a rookie looks the better option. If you don't have Barlow, you need to get him in this round, no questions asked.

If you have Barlow, there's Jordie Mackenzie who's looking good, then there's Connors (who might not play next week), then there's Trengove/Scully who are important to Melbourne and will get better as time goes on, then there's Banner and Bastinac. Also Lewis Jetta to consider

Personally, I like Bastinac and Mackenzie, but Trengove could be a good pick for a guaranteed 22.

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

Trading Tippett seems a bit of trigger trade atm. You need to ask yourself why you picked him in the first place and for me (like a million others) it was have backup ruck to swap with Lobbe if the need arose. Is it worth having Lobbe sitting on your bench with nothing you can do with him? If you have a lot of faith in your other bench ruck then go for it, but it looks like it might cost you a future trade further down the track.

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

This week I'm looking towards:

Clark > Seaby
Hall > Brown

RUCK - Clark, Hille
FWD - Riewoldt, O'Keefe, Gray, Tippett, Hall, Dangerfield, Ballantyne

I figure that Seaby will average at least the same as Clark this season even if Clark comes good. Hall is getting double/triple teamed on delivery and not likely to become a premium in my books. Hille should get better and I'll hopefully upgrade him for Kreuzer later in the season. Tippett should come good eventually and as a premium will wait out his early season form. Not too radical? Seems like a wise set of trades to me.

How the hell was Hurn's hit less 'rough' than Kosi's? Don't recall any broken bones last week. Still- might make me rethink my trade plans. I can cover him for two weeks - Silvagni and Nason have both done enough to keep their spots for the moment I think.

Kinda wish he had been rubbed out for more- would have made my decision a lot easier:eek:.

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

Not sure what to do with Ball. Picking a midpricer was always going to be risky, and his kicking as always has been shit which means his SC scores have been too.

Should have just spent the extra dough for Cooney ...

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

Am going to do....

Clark > Kreuzer
Gray > Brown

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

broke the number 1 rule of supercoach by trading in week 1 but i must say im very happy with my last minute decision
Out McMahon(0) In Nason (73). nason to bench will earn me money, starting Maguire for 100 points
Out Warren (40) In Brown (171) extra 131 points plus im left with 135k

This week i will go Ball to Selwood and think about Clark and then my team is set till the cash cows start making some money

Team atm is
Goddard, Enright, Hodge, Kennely, Malceski, Waters, Maguire (Silvani, Nason)
Ablett, Pendlebury, Ball, Trengove, Martin, Barlow (Shuey, Bastinac)
Sandilands, Clark (Warnock, Lobbe)
Riewoldt, Okeefe, Brown, Higgins, Boomer, Hall, Ballantyne (Gumbleton, Roberts)

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

Hi guys

I am not sure what to do so would appreciate your input. I have a couple of options for trading this week.

Option 1

Downgrade Goodwin/Bock to Hunt
Upgrade Hall to Brown

With the money left over I can use to upgrade one of my midfield cash cows in the future.

Option 2

Downgrade Tippet to Seaby
Upgrade Hall to Brown

What do you guys think. I am in a bit of a rutt at the moment. Please give me your opinions/feedback.

cheers :)

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

It's early days yet but I'm thinking tippett to seaby (in the form he's in, against the tiges rucks...its gonna be a massacre) and then ball to judd (I'll play one of shuey/bastinac just for round 3). Thoughts???

Sounds like a good trading IMO. When Judd does come back he will blitz and Seaby is in fine form.

Any comments on mine please.

I'd have to go with the second option. Goodwin is a quality player, I rate him very highly so I'd hold onto him especially for SC.

Re: Official SC 2010 Trading Thread

Need trade advice on the following:

Kurt Tippett for Jonathan Brown

Relton Roberts for Carl Peterson

Have not used any trades to date. I do not care about overall position and am simply playing to win my league, so having the best possible side come Round 18 is my only concern. Thoughts?

The only player I would drop would be Tippett. You would be mad to drop those Dogs. They will score. Don't waste your trades.

Tippett for Cruzer

Ps watch Marc Murphy when Juddy gets back in the team. will go nuts.

Roberts for Peterson is a waste of a trade. If you have the money to swap Tippett to Brown just do that, dont burn a trade for little benifits. :thumbsu:
