Hi guys,

Is it possible for me to do 1 trade only?
I have Tippett (FWD) & Jolly (RUC).
I want to end up with Tippet (RUC) & Franklin (FWD)
How would I go about doing this?
Also, is it too early to drop Jolly?
Tippett didn't have a good week, but I keeping him & hope he will improve

Depends on your forwardline, personally I would wait as the hawks have tough games in Saint Kilda and Geelong coming up. You should have picked Clarke over Jolly though, i'm certain he won't be as dominant as he was in Sydney.

Nope you cant, your stuffed, even if you had Lobbe on the bench as MPP it wouldnt work, I sugest just leaving it as is. Remember that was Jollys 1st game for the pies, and the will win alot of games this year thus helping him to a good score.

Collingwood too. Sandi is the best option followed by Kruzer, Clark just had a luck season and will not score like he did last season with Lue and Charman bitting at his heels.

I can't stress enough how important it is to save trades early.

stupidly i swapped malceski for jamison(hmm) so i could bring in ablett for swan (against all my instincts) im going against the trend. wasting 2 trades early to go back to eski and swan before price changes. ill then be scoring 2400's and happy to leave untill rookie trade time.

i just think i shouldve left it this way to begin with and would rather do it now than when i lose $ on possibly ablett and definately jamison the way he looks. and in the mean time malceski should have a big rise. also the rest of the top 4 in my league all have the eski and i remember last year what seperated me from top few were key players all top sides in my league had where i decided to go an underdog(old habit of mine) for aruond same price and hope for bigger results.

yeh terrible last minute mistake. but as i said im happy now till way later in season and with all bench(except podsi) playing shouldnt have to touch unless long term injury.

if u remember what i posted in the to have ablett or not thread u'll find this funny. lol

Last Thursday afternoon, what were your expected 2010 season averages for Ablett, Swan, Malceski and Jamison?

And what are they now?

It doesnt matter a HO only = 1 point and he got 25 im sure he mill avg atleast 20 per game. He did get 4 free kicks tho which boosted his score. Also had 3 kicks, 13 handballs, 3 marks and 4 tackles.

mmm probably not in a simple 2 trades. pretty happy with rest of setup.. and i guess swan is the only player i can justify outting ablett for. seems almost an even swap to me but so much gain in eski

Swan and ablett i expect to ave around 130s only diff is i can see swan playing every game not so sure on ablett.
to start i predicted a drop in abletts scores but bought into the 'its only 1 trade to out him, could take a few weeks and trades to get him' theory. so got him anyway.

Eski i guess 70 - 80 but i had massive ?? on whether his body was going hold up and hearing so many rumours prior to round 1 even starting put me off.
Jamison was a tip off an (ex)mate lol and i guess was hoping ave of 70 coming off around 60 in the preseason. (only came about as i couldnt afford eski,hunt or ladson)

A HO is worth one point, a HO to advantage is worth 3 points.

Even so he only got 25 HO its not a masive number. Jolly was posting 40s last season. A decent ruckman will get you 25+ a game.

I think I value my trades at more than 105 points each.

what i now think is..
malceski without injury is back in 07 form and ready to ave 90 - 100
jamison is clealry going to struggle for 60's

not mention he will lose me $ and be sittin there as a blank i can do nothing with come trade time. malceski could be a keeper or get me alot of $$.

im questioning my original decision to put in jamison not questioning the trades as i think it has to be done.

i also think swan and the pies look sharp. and last year with the 3 games ablett missed swan out scored him for the year. if im right on them averaging the same(possibly more) it will be well worth having swan in over ablett.

Doesnt mater to much look at Goodard. Do you have him? Hi averaged mid 70s in the preseason and scored 131. preseason for doesnt mean to much. Its a just a guide but doesnt mean to much.
