Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Hille to Seaby, what do you think?

I don't have Brown either but don't have enough yet and no one really warrants being traded out to be honest, I mean Hall is questionable but still don't have enough if I traded him. Pavlich, surely that's just sideways business.

Advice?

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Thoughts anyone?

Deledio -> Cornes ... which will give me enough cash for
Thursfield -> Malceski

Thursfield was dropped by Richmond this week, so I definately need to swap him out.

Should I be looking at freeing up cash from someone else, other than a premium?

My other iffy players are:
(I need to free up 51k to do the thursfield to malceski trade)

Hille
Masten
B Hall
R. Hargrave

Anyone have any other suggestions? Or should i bite the bullet and pull the trigger on Deledio?

How much is in the salary cap??? could try hille to seaby but not sure if thats enough?

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

EDIT: Also, can anyone tell me what Ball needs to maintain his price?
Ball needs 128, which isn't completely out of reach but does look unlikely. Maybe he'll fire up against his old team? I hope so!

As for whether you should keep him, to be honest I have NFI!:p:confused:

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

He already has him. :D

Luke Ball,Persist with him, or trade him out? Was hoping to use him as a cash cow sort of thing to get Judd in a few weeks. :/ Boak, Higgins, Cornes and a few others i've looked at trading him to. What to do.... ??

EDIT: Also, can anyone tell me what Ball needs to maintain his price?

According to tooserious.net Ball needs to score 129 to break even this week. If he holds his current average he will drop about $25k in price.

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Get rid of Gray for Brown + 80k.

OR

Get rid of Hall for Brown and keep Gray ( and hope he comes back next week)

I have Pods as cover for Gray so I'm worried about that and apparently he's been in awesome form in the VFL. Just worried about Gray's injury. Thoughts anyone?

Don't personally like the Lids to Kornes trade. Out of those iffy players I don't think you can do anything with Hille. Maybe Masten to a rookie. Maybe Hall to either Ballantyne or Rockliff or Peterson. Don't know what to do with Hargrave. If I was to downgrade it would be for maybe Gilbee. You're in a pickle!!! What the heck were you thinking picking Thursfield. LOL!!!

Hille to Seaby too sideways

just put this trade through

Awesome trade. Mark Williams is a spud

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

We know Ball won't get a touch or have an absoulte blinder and get 35 disposals.

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

LOL that he is - I actually sat there for a few minutes and gave up because I couldn't work out who 'Williams' was ... ;)

I can imagine you were thinking he was upgrading Bulldog, Tom Williams to Hawk, Campbell Brown...;)

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Pretty sold on: Clark --> Seaby, Hall --> ROK

King of annoyed at trading Hall out this early, but With no ROK or Brown I just don't think I can afford to miss out on one of them. I'm expecting Hall to have a pretty good game this week, but expect him to start scoring more consistenly bigger scores later on in the season and I can jump back on then if I want.

Any thoughts?

Nice move, Hall was a fluke, will be getting similar scores to Bradshaw this year.

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

I have 2 trades this week and want to use both, wanting advice on which way to go.

I am thinking of these 3 and which two are best.

Do I;

Mcveigh for either Mckenzie, Conners, Howlett

Mitch Clarck for Seaby, kruezer, Natanui, Jamar , ottens (want to make this my one and only ruck trade for year.

Medhurst/Ziebell/Hall for Dangerfield, byrnes, murphy, ebert, lonergan, peterson.

I need to decide between the 3 trades and which players are best, I think I should trade down for some cashcows for now but the ruck is worrying me with Clarck in.

Any Ideas???

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Far out, i'm facing similar dilemas, i've heard great things on the radio from Robbo on SEN about McKenzie and from memory Conners has started well. Howlett has been dropped so your down to two choices there.

Mitch Clark for Kruezer i think! It's what i'm going to do!

Now my Dilema, i have both Mitch Clark and Kurt Tippett as my main rucks, both doing bad, whose going to come good first or improve first?

And i i made a toss of the coin to get Goodes instead of Riewoldt before Round 1, regretting that now.

Option A

Trade M Clarke for M Kruezer

Trade Goodes for Riewoldt and hope Tippett comes good, could always trade him for Seaby next week if he doesn't

Option B

Trade M Clarke for Sandilands

Trade Tippett for M Kruezer

I guess i have to weigh up getting on the Riewoldt bangwagon versues will i get more points combined from Kruezer and Sandilands as opposed to Kruezer and Goodes (as he isn't going that bad to the point of Clark or Tippet)

Help me decide! lol

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

only made the 1 trade this week..
A.Moore(PA) out for M.Duncan(Geel)

was considering trading robbie tarrant for either peterson or hitchcock, but decided against it as trades are so valuable and i dont rate petersons and hitchcocks positions as cement and robbie is emergency each week so will crack it soon enough to not waste a trade

I'd go with Option B, You need Sandi in your side. It's debatable to swap Clark for Kreuzer though, waste of a trade IMO.
Downgrade Clark to Seaby so you can use the cash to upgrade other areas on your team. I see Seaby being within 400-450k at the end of the year.

It would be nice to get on Riewoldt, but I prefer B. Clark and Tippett are looking suspiciously bad this year. Sandi and Kreuzer are looking much safer, much better. Goodes will come good, whereas Clark and Tippett might not. B for me.

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Did the unthinkable: Traded out Gazza and replaced him with Kane Cornes, then with the left over cash upgrade B Hall to Roo. J Brown has more upward potential however I see Roo as the more consistent performer. There will never be a lack of feed from St Kilda midifield and now with Kosi suspended he should do well in the immediate future. Was toying with Tippet but decided to keep him. Since he's in my forward line there are plenty of alternatives. I wouldn't recommend Tippet as ruck though, a good ruckman must be consistent, and there's so such thing as a cheap but good rookie in the ruck so any backups will be expensive, better lessen the need of a backup instead.

I have some weakness is in the ruck, partly due to pre-season push for Gazza. With only Seaby, Natuini and Hill plus Warnock, 3 not quite premiums plus a rookie. Seaby is having a good run but not convinced it will be sustained, but hopefully the other rookie stock (Hitchcock/Macguire/Barlow/Martin)would've cashed in by then for an upgrade or 3.

The questionables are Krakouer/Kennelly/Gumbleton/Jetta/C Masten..
