Hmm im gonna be trading out roo this week for more than likely goodes, But is it worth trading out medhurst, is it worth using 4 trades in two weeks already??

I've got about $200k to spare after a trade last week. Not sure if i should upgrade Luke Ball to Judd, or upgrade Giansiracusa into some other forward?

Already got ROK in my forwardline and probably gonna get Brown in for Riewoldt.

Re: riewoldt trades

will have to see how everything else goes during the week mite go waite > gilbee...
was originally going roo> delicious cyril then waite > drummond/ or premium but then dont want 4 hawks in my starting 22, likewise with gilbee coz that will then give me 4 starting dogs... does this affect it or not... now i only have 1 starting saint... should i get gilbert? so many qns to answer lol

Re: riewoldt trades

I think pav will continue to do well as long as Fremantle keep up their super form. Champan is to injury prone for me.

For those who have other injuries including dangerfield, tippett (if you still have him...), waite, I think we should consider cyril before his price rises. I watched him play today and DAMN he looks good. Most of his goals were amazing and under pressure. He's quick and the bump on Cross was a beauty. Im feeling him more than buddy atm.

Thoughts on cyril guys?

Nah Danger is most likely playing this week, just has a bit of soreness should be fine in a couple of days, the found no bone or nerve damage in CAT scan.

I would go Roo for Harvey, he is the most concistant. Another posibility is Higgins, still quite cheap.

Now what do you guys think on Bock? He hurt his hammy might mis 0-2 games but it might just be soreness. He hasnt started the season well very sub par scores, any thoughts?

Want some opinions on the Riewoldt/Tippett debarcle. I have a few options to choose from...

Option 1
Riewoldt -> Chapman
Tippett -> anyone under 342k (Ziebell?)

Option 2
Riewoldt -> Goodes
Tippett -> anyone under approx 385k (No idea)

Option 3
Riewoldt -> Pavlich
Tippett -> anyone under approx 425k (Rioli?)

I'm leaning towards option 3 but just wanting clarification.

Cheers,
jimbob

Your option 3 is my option 1 & 2 mate! ;)

Riewoldt -> Rioli.

Premiums in the forwardline for me are still ok with this trade. I have Goodes, Higgins, ROK and Browny all down there so I'm not lacking there.

Dangerfield -> Cooney (or any midfielder worth 528k or less).

I can get Dangerfield into my midfield with MPP and there are so many more options here at the 528k price. Cooney is probably the best midfielder around that range.

So in the end I'm losing a premium in Riewoldt, gaining one in Cooney and swapping Rioli for Dangerfield.

Number 3. i don't think you want to be trading in too many players for over 300k that aren't definite keepers for the year. Ziebell is only a 'best-case scenario' keeper and a lower end one at that. Rioli has a much higher ceiling and looks in great touch. having good forward rookies as cover is essential though as he might miss some games.

I'd wait on Dangerfield. He may only miss a week or two and if that's the case don't waste a trade on him just yet.

Okay so my Forwardline is:

Riewoldt, ROK, Brown, Gia, Hall, Dangerfield, Medhurst (Rockliff & Hitchcock),

I'm looking at who to trade Riewoldt too as it looks like LTI (I think the talk today is after midseason break) and I have $1,700 in the bank ruling out Chapman with downgrading someone else. I've narrowed down my options to 5 viable contenders:

1. Adam Goodes, $568900
Averaging 93.00, but price is likely to keep falling meaning he'd be a good upgrade target in a few weeks as he hasn't set the world on fire.

2. Brent Harvey, $479200
Averaging 99.00. Had two great scores, and one atrocious score. He is part of a side who is unlikely to win a lot of matches.

3. Matthew Pavlich $518200
Averaging 98.33, though has started a little inconsistantly. Is a proven SC performer. The risk is whether the Freo side can maintain their form or whether over the marathon they'll wind up loosing more games than winning.

4. Alan Didak $530500
Averaging 91.00, though like Pavlich has been inconsistant. Is playing for a side that should win more than they loose (provided they can learn to kick straight in front of goal).

5. Shaun Higgins
Averaging 104.00 so far and has been consistantly around the 100 mark. Is also good from the price difference point of view. He is however injury prone and I already have two dogs in my forwardline.

So who should I choose?

Yeah big call. Maybe Pav or Higgins ..Both should be fairly consistent.

I am in a similar situation. I have Roo and Tippett....and Clark for that matter.
My fwd line is Roo, Didak, Goodes, Tippett, Medhurst, Ballantyne, Rockcliff
Emerg. Gumby, Hitchcock

Was thinking a double trade (reluctantly due to injuries) of Roo & Tippett (crappitt..I call him now) for two of either Pav, Rioli or Grundy.
Need help with which two?? I am leaning towards Pav and Rioli but Grundy is looking okay. Any ideas??? By taking Rioli and Grundy it would leave me with still $111K which I could use for another upgrade of a mid priced or rookie next week which was of course my initial plan prior to the injuries.

Any thoughts??

Cheers

goodes, harvey, and pavlich are the supercoach heroes. they will pull out massive scores often every so often and be relatively consistent.

higgins is more consistent than didak.

i like goodes and higgins with pavlich just missing out on cut.
