LOL! :D

Was always a recipe for disaster keeping spud Tippet and Clark. Both should have been traded out ASAP last week. :thumbsu:

Was trying to conserve trades, and both had been picked in my original team as keepers based on form from last year and preseason.

Oh well, you lose some and ... (in my case) you lose some.

I was thinking of doing 2 trades:

trading Roo > Brennan and then using the spare cash (including my $50 k in the bank) of upgrading Gia to Goodes. However, I could pick up Goodes in a couple of weeks as his may go down in price further.

I have already used 2 trades thus far but I think I will need to use a further 2 to improve my forward line as this has been my weakest link.

My Fwd Line

Brown, Roo , Medhurst, Gia, Schneider, Betts , Dangerfield, emg Pods & Rockliff.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated

Why trade Gia to Goodes? Is there really a point? Brennan will be inconsistant, so be ware of that. You can do it, but I don't know how much it will benefit you.

My Question:

Roo > Rioli
Tippett > Sandilands

Yeah, I stuffed up. Thoughts?

Im thinking a straight swap of Waite to Malceski... One appears on the way up and looks keeper material ( and all the other contenders in my league seem to have him) whereas Waite appears like he will be very up and down with his comeback from a reco. Both similarly priced now, but wont be after this week.

Thoughts??

was gonna do this trade last week and backed out. still thinking of doing it, so will be gaining a lot less cash but holding a potential keeper.

am also after thoughts?

Thanks for your feedback. I believe Brennan will be more consistent this year given where he's playing at the moment and therefore believe he is bargain at this stage. Gia seems to be rotating with Aker on the Half Forward and therefore not getting much game time. Goodes on the other hand will be ripe for the picking.SC gun

As for your query, Rioli is a sensational player but may be a risk given he will be managing his OP injury throughout the year.

I'd definitely do the Tippett to Sandi trade.

Sounds like a good idea however I would be concerned about Brennan getting suspended again..he can be a bit of a loose cannon at times.
Maybe look at Rioli or even Grundy.

I have Roo and Tippett in fwd line that I now need to get rid of. I am thinking of going to trade Roo for Grundy and then Tippett for Rioli.

A little different I know but this would leave me still with $113K to spend on another upgrade. My fwd line would then be Grundy, Didak, Goodes, Rioli, Medhurst, Ballantyne, Rockcliff (hitchcock, Gumby)

I could then upgrade Medhurst or Ballantyne in the next week or two.

Just not sure yet.

Other options: Roo for Brown, tippett for Reimers
Roo for Pav, tippett for Rioli
Roo for Harvey, tippett for Grundy or Rioli
Roo for Pav, tippett for Grundy

any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

cheers

Should I trade Kennnelly to Malceski while i still can or shoud i trade tippett for either Murphy or Reimers and try to get Malceski next week? I have already traded Riewoldt for Brown and have $52,600 left.

The Kennelly -> Mal trade has been discussed a bit on these forums. Too sideways for me.

I unfortunetly went for Kennelly at the start of the season over Mal, but I will stick with him. He's getting enough of the ball and he's effeciency hasn't been too bad. If he ends up averaging 85-95 I'd be satisfied. I didn't select him for the big scores, I selected him for optimistic consistency!

Just realized a Roo -> Pavlich and Tippett -> Cyril would give me 5 Dockers in my team:eek: Should I stick with that or take Boomer instead given my team's performance would be very dependant on that team performing well. My Freo players are Ballantyne, Mayne, Barlow and Sandi at the moment.

Hi guys

I desperately need help. I have Tippet in the ruck possie and am not sure who to trade him to. I have just over $200k in the bank.

I am also hoping Tippets ankle injury puts him out for a few weeks so I can just put Warnock on the park and see how the other ruckman go before making a decision on who to replace Tippet with. If Cox keeps on going the way he is he will be cheap the next few weeks.

I am thinking of trading Tippet to either Kreuzer, Nicnat, Seaby or even Maric.

What do you guys think?

I went for Malceski.

Mainly because i knew if he got back to 07 form he would get big numbers. Pretty sure it was his last chance at the club to be fair after a rough couple of seasons trying to get back from the knee injury. A couple of sterling NAB Cup games made him a lock. Not to mention he is more damaging by foot than Kennelly. (Richmond game on the weekend a good example of his kicking game)

Kennelly has had shoulder and knee problems, a year out of the game and always copped a defensive forward on him to stop his run. Those sort of things made me aprehensive about getting him.

Out of thew above options I would pick the following option:

Roo for Pav, tippett for Rioli

I am not sold on Grundy even though he got a reasonable score in the previous round but lets not forget it was against Richmond. If you pick him now, I would think you will upgrade him again to a premium, so theoretically you will be using 2 trades on him.
