Come on mate,

I reckon people are entitled to trade in/out whoever they like imo. They are the coach of their own teams.

I'm the same, i'm not out for overall glory. Just to enjoy the thrill of getting on over mates.

Yeah, I'm in it to beat my mates out, as well as show that I can handle a team half well. Not for a second did I actually think that the 50k was realistic at any point.

Nothing to be that serious over, don't want to take Supercoach TOO seriously as it will just upset me when it shouldn't be.

You also have to remember that there are a lot of new/first year players around here (I am pretty much one, first year taking it seriously). I think that it took us all time to get the hang of Supercoach, we aren't all experts of Supercoach. I'll try and help as much as I can, and I know some people will make shocker trades, so I may as well try and steer them in the right direction rather than sit there and tell them I have no hope.

I was once like that, I'm sure most of us were, so helping out might help them take the next step to being a gun Supercoacher.

is anyone not trading out tippett?

I'm going to hang on for a bit and hopefully upgrade him down the track. I've got him as a ruck and I don't really want to go sideways with the options available. Going mainly for the league win though. Otherwise I'd probably pull the pin. Have Mitch Clark too.

What are everyones thoughts on Brennan?
He could be an option for people who are looking to trade out Roo and maybe even Tippet or Dangermouse.

I think he's probably a better option than Rioli, but it's hard to trust him because of his inconsistency in the past (not to mention he's a suspension risk).

I am seriously considering him though - I'm just not completely sold on any of the options. Right now I reckon there's a 50% chance I go with Brennan (25% each for Rioli and Pav!)

Im a new to taking supercoach seriously, last year i averaged like 1580 lol. Ive got a lot better 2250 average. But did a stupid trade due to my noobyness

traded gray for brynes last round cause i thought everyones price changes after round 3 and gray would go down heaps cause he hasnt scored yet

Ive thought of some interesting trades with tippett and roo in the forward line

Roo+Tippett--->Boomer+Rioli

Boomer is a proven champion, rioli could see a huge price rise soon

Roo+Tipett--->ROK+Gwilt
ROK premium player,consistent, gwilt is a unique pick, he runs of half back for the saints and he looks like harry o'brien. he is playing pretty good averaging 91, has some easy sides coming up: freo,port, doggies, blues, bombers, eagles and crows. he might be better pick after the doggies game.
he is more of a gamble, more risk=more reward

Is a mix of both 1 and 2. Firstly trade roo+tippett--->harvey,rioli. Hope for the best with dangerfield and hopefully he peaks around round 7/8/9 and trade him for gwilt

Dont trade anything till at least round 8 unless you get an injury or suspension like Roo

I am in the same boat howver I have Tippett in fwd line.
Would like Roo for Brown and Tippett for Rioli but cannot afford it.

I am now thinking Roo for pav and Tippett for Rioli.
Any thoughts??

Or do I just do Roo for Brown and hang onto tippett (have cover on bench of Gumby & Hitchcock)

I just know that Brown and Rioli will go up after this week and I already have Goodes, Didak.

You could go ultra-unique and go with James Gwilt, which might free up Brown money. But Pav will suffice either way.

I think Tippett has too much downside to keep, TBH.

Like your creativity with Gwilt, and could be a great smokey pick, but why not pick a Carl Peterson if you want to do that? Gwilt's a cool pick, but not sure on him.

However, Boomer has proven to be a 550k+ player, and I don't see a reason he can't return to that (despite age, tag and such)

I'll think I'll wait 2 weeks (unless a injury) and hopefully Sammy Mich and Waite and a few others pull there socks up.there are a few players l added to watch list so l can keep an eYe on them.

Trengove won't have peaked by next week & it's unlikely that Ablett will be bottoming out so Option 1 may be bad timing.
Clark should become a keeper at some stage, so you would want to have spare trades to justify trading him out (unless this is his 'breakdown' year)!
Perhaps just replacing Roo & waiting on the others is prudent?

I'm looking at trading out a mid-price mid too, except I have Armitage who has been OK, but not much better than some rookies. I don't think it's too risky starting those mid rookies, better in there than than up forward anyway.

Roo->Chappy is a good option assuming Chappy doesn't miss to many. I was going to risk it with Rioli.

My situation:

I have a ruck full of average joes(hille/nait/seaby/warnock)

An injury devastated forward line with franklin/riewoldt/tippet(likely) out

I suppose nobody's ruck stock is going to rise anytime soon, so valuewise ruck upgrades can wait. All my rookies are playing and it is not yet time to harvest, but probably too late to sideway trade rookies unless he has a good chance to become an A grader.

Swapping out Riewoldt is a given

SO the quesetion is, should I use the other trade to swap Krakouer to Malceski whilst he's still affordable, but this means I have to play 2 rookies in gumb and hitchcock. Or dump Tippet for say Rioli?

Tricky one really. Option 1 obviously bringing in GAJ is great but adding another forward rookie (with less than ideal job security) is not great. That would then be Peterson, Pods, Rock and Hitch all without a Gumby like job security although they would have the highest scoring potential of the fwd rookies available.

Option 2 Rioli has a fair bit of upside and at his price he is, dare i say it, delicious...but me personally I would persist with Clark. Rioli also has his OP concerns?

have roo and tippett in fwd line have looked at pav and rioli but keep coming back to grundy. Just think he can be a keeper this year. 4 frees against in first round against saints kept his score low. Apart from that he looks ok. May do the roo to pav and tippett to grundy trade. Or do the roo to grundy and hang on to tippett to save a trade and see if pav price drops next week. Any thoughts?

Hey guys, im pretty new to supercoach and was just wondering what would be the better option:

Roo --> Harvey and bank 100k or
Roo --> ROK and have next to nothing banked for trades later.
