Hi everyone...

Wanting to trade out Tippett and Riewoldt this week.. What are thoughts on this trade?

Out: Roo & Tippett
In: Rioli & Pav

Are there any better options?

I already have Browny... Would like ROK but can find a decent trade to make it possible... any suggestions?

$965,600 to spend on 2 players...

Rioli and pav are both great options, ROK would be nice but then u would have to go lower on the other forward

Which combo do people prefer:

Sandi, tippet in the rucks and one of Higgins, Gray or Rioli up forward as a roo replacement

or, Sandi and clark in the rucks and any forward under 410k, there are lots of options but none really standing out as roo replacement.

basically i need to decide who is going to be better Tippet and a solid forward or Clark and a risky forward

Mitchell's inconsistent in SuperCoach because of the 8 clangers that restricted him to 59 points and 112 in Dream Team. Boyd is a SuperCoach and Dream Team gun so he must be considered in your 22.

I would steer clear of Tippett IMO. With talks of him having tendonitis of the knees and ended last week on crutches is a bit of a worry, seems to be really struggling this year.
Stick with sandi and clark and maybe look at Robert Murphy or Josh Hill?

thanks for that, i was loking at Murphy along with Dangerfield and Ziebell. Which out of these 3 looks the best Dangerfield is apprantly playing this week too

Thoughts on this trade

Roo > Chapman & Schnieder > Rioli - I am willing to take the risk on him given his current inj concerns. However I do want to get Brennan into my team.

My current fwd line:

Gia , Roo (to be traded) , Brown, Schneider, Medhurst, Betts,Danger,

Emg: Pods & Rockcliff

My big quandry at the moment is are Rioli and Brennan keepers this season...

I believe they are keepers if Rioli can stay on the park & Brennan, I have a gut feeling he will be a consistent scorer especially now that he is playing in the midfield.

HEY ALL!!

Have Roo and Tippett in fwd line.
All the talk is to trade Roo for Pav/boomer and Tippett for Rioli/Grundy

My gut feeling is that I should trade both Roo and Tippett as Tippett is really struggling regardless of whether he plays this week or not.

However for some reason my mind is telling me to save trades at all cost and just make the one trade this week in Roo for Brown and hang on to Tippett. I have coverage on the bench in Gumby and Hitchcock.

What is the best stategy? Roo for Brown and wait on Tippett. Or trade Roo for Pav/Boomer and say Tippett for Grundy/Rioli and burn two trades.

I guess you have to ask yourself. Will Brown keep his scores up?
Will Tippett bounce back? Will Rioli or Grundy become a keeper?
Surely Pav is a keeper.
I already have Goodes, ROK & Didak. Do i jump on the Brown bandwagon like everyone else or take a risk with the two trades?

Any thoughts or theories???

I have the exact same dilema. I have been thinking of trading out Tippett but my gut is saying to keep him and dont waste a trade yet. I have the same cover as you in Hitchcock and Gumbleton. But i also have the problem of Dangerfield. So Tippett and Danger are both injured and may not play but i think i will just use my 2 bench players if i have to. Personally i think Danger will play.

The obvious trade for Roo is Brown, i think that is a no brainer. But i picked Tippett as a keeper so i am going to keep him for now, surely he cant get any worse.

already have 176k in the bank, will be moving the cap room to 274,800

Hopefully, $300k + in my pocket.

Going to miss the Bail bus but plenty more fish in the sea.

Maybe next week a Schoenmakers/Hunt downgrade to boost the cash reserves.

My forward is this;

Brown, O'Keefe, Riewoldt*, Gray, Tippett*, Dangerfield, Ballantyne (Gumbleton, Roberts)

Need to trade Riewoldt/Tippett and I'm leaning towards Chapman & Peterson, anyone reckon Peterson could be just as good as Rioli or score just as much? That would pocket me 225k for another upgrade and get Rockliff for Roberts/Gumbleton the following week with Martin > Judd or Hunt > Gilbee. Is anyone else making similar trades or looking at Peterson with a -68 break-even for cash or potential F7?

Why would you downgrade a premium? That is going to cost you at least 20-30 points a weeks or about 500-600 points a year.

Like many, i have Riewoldt & Tippett, but not sure whether to trade both of them or just Riewoldt. Have a fairly tough 1st-up league match, but equally don't want to make stupid, short-term trades. Also have Buddy on the pine this week, so already playing 2 x rookies on-field.

FWD: Riewoldt, ROK, Franklin, Higgins, Tippett, Hall, Hitchcock (Duncan & Roberts).

My options:

b) Roo > JB, Tippett > Rioli (+ $26k)
c) Roo > Pav, Tippett > Harvey (+ $7k)
d) Roo > Pav, Tippett > Rockliff (+ $343k)

I think his (or her) point is that Riewoldt is a genuine premium and while Rioli looks a chance to be, he's got to prove it over a long period. By trading to Brown or O'Keefe, you're probably not going to lose anything apart from a trade.

I can't imagine anyone posting on supercoach wouldn't know about Riewoldt.

Cheers. Yeah, i am definitely considering that one...I guess my only concern is that I am then playing both Hitchcock & Rockliff/Pods on-field (and this week Hitchcock, Rockliff/Pods and Duncan). That may still be the best way to go though. Yeah its tough man, if I was you and I had the money I would go Brown and Harvey, But Im guessing you dont have the cash, Brown is a must have at this stage, looks better than the start to season 06 he had. Higgins is also an option, or mabye you can trade Brown in this week, sit on Tippett for a week coz his value wont change (im guessing he isnt playing) Then keep an eye out for Harvey who could drop some value against the swans still has that 11 in his 3 game avg and his BE is around 130, Neon leon should drop some $$s this week as will Didak they are all proven scorers in the past. At the end of the day go with your gut.

Keep in mind Rockliff and Podsiadly haven't necessarily got guaranteed spots in their team so trading for Tippett who is priced as an on-field player might be too big of a risk. If you don't have Peterson as I mentioned before, he has a -68 break-even and set to be a good short-term F7 until you can make the upgrade. He's also currently the 21st ranked forward averaged 83 so will keep his spot in the side - a mini-Rioli.
