First game, Doodles, first game. In an under performing team, and one significantly down on confidence. You wouldn't expect him to take the game on in his first outing, not a kid who dropped down the draft into the 60s.

Are people allowed to give opinions on new kids VP? You seem to take offence any time someone gives a negative opinion about a new player.

You're conflating two things there Kappa. Of course posters can have opinions on new kids. I can't see where I said otherwise.

But then, depending on that opinion, I can express a counter view, as can anyone.

If you go all the way back to post #9, I think you'll see that Doodles was mainly posting for the alliteration: 'Crocker had a shocker'. He can be forgiven for being the first BF poster to come up with that one!
