I hate Carlton with a passion but I have to say that SOS was one of the best players of all time.

In fact he is so far in front of Scarlett it is even embarrassing that polls like this get brought up.

The natural order of defenders over the past 20 years goes like SOS >> Fletcher >> Scarlett.

Scarlett has spent the best part of his career playing in an era without superstar full forwards.

Lloyd had the better of Scarlett in his prime and Lloyd is not in the class of Dunstall, Lockett and Ablett.

and when was this last big bag of goals that Lloyd kicked on Scarlett? Scarlett has beaten Lloyd hands down the past 6 years, held lloyd to 2 goals or under in most of the games.

I dont think it is as bad as you make out with Franklin, Franklin only kicked two against Scarlett directly, one of his goals was a 100 m penalty by mooney, so that's not scarlett's fault, and the other was kicked against mackie.
Is 2 goals kicked against him taking him for a runabout?
