Does anyone have any knowledge of Matty's knee arthroscope rehab? Normally it would be a 4 week or so rehab. Any confirmation that all is well?

I think the plan all along was to have him ready for the final pre season game. So if that's the case then he should play next week vs Richmond.

Chappy's been named in the squad to take on the Lions tomorrow night.

Where did you speak to him?

He was in contention for the St. Kilda game, so at that stage he'd obviously been back training and training well for a couple of weeks, at least that's what Thompson said anyway. It was expected he would resume this week, but the Cats obviously decided it wasn't worth taking him up to Queensland, and to give him another week for precaution. I'd say, yeah he'll definetely play next week to get at least some match fitness under his belt.

Best we've heard thus far was Balme telling us he'll be back between Rnds 3-8.

according to the article in the addy scarlo confirmed for the richmond game and chappy is in QLD as we speak. Good to hear, also good that harley and bomber are having a run as well tonight.
