As an interstate member, can they let you just purchase members reserve passes ?

I'd ask the question and then just sit in the Noble Stand, non reserved seating, first in, best dressed.

I don't believe so. I think the only benefit is that I get in before the general public but have the same access when it comes to seating.

A Swans members guest pass (which will NOT get you into the pool) gives you the following options.

On the fence behind the goals with Kenny's harem and Soph or on the flank near the interchange gates (Troy Luff stand).
Medium elevation on flank (lower Ladies stand)
Stand elevation behind the goals (Noble Stand)
If you are so inclined, you can also watch the game from either the ladies stand or Noble Stand bars.
For night games, the gates open at 3.45pm and the ressies start at 3.50pm. Get there then and you have the choice of all of the above, as there are no reserved seats. But they do give you a "seat reserved" sticker at the gate - when you select your seat you attach the sticker to same, so you are free to go wandering around without the worry of some latecomer pinching it. As you are coming from Tassie, I really recommend you get there early anyway, there is some exciting talent in our much maligned ressies team.

Who needs that when dear old Grandad gets there at the crack of dawn each week. I owe that man about four thousand beers the amount of times he saves the best seats in the house for me, allowing me to rock up as the Swannies take the field.

EatBig - I agree with the folk saying you should worm your way into the members reserve if possible. The bars and view well worth it. If you're having trouble, I typically have a spare ticket or two. PM me closer to the game.
