Melb has basically stitched Schofield up to protect the reputation of Oliver. Expect nothing less from a club that has tanked for 10 years.

My theory is Gawny took Oliver aside in the changerooms at HT and gave him a couple of jabs to the chin to teach a lesson for being such a nerd about the whole situation, any damage from that would have shown up in the medical report.

I would love the club to appeal it.
Not that I think we'd win necessarily, but just to see a club appointed official stand up at the tribunal and accuse Oliver of staging.
We can afford to lose Schofield for a few weeks so I'm not irked by losing. It wouldn't be good community work though so the club will never go for it.

So by "intentional", are they arguing that Schofield meant to hit him in the head? Because he was obviously aiming for the chest area and he hit the chest area. Would 'reckless' or careless or what not be a better grading?
