"The keyboard warriors have been proven wrong because he's at the tribunal now proving his case"

Schofield found not guilty by arguing Oliver dived and he wasn't at the tribunal either
I thought the same thing in my head

I haven't had the chance to wander over to the main board. What's the consensus?

Just about any non-Melbourne fan (and even some Melbourne fans) support Schofield. Not one questioned the tribunal decision.

It was a popular outcome, you can now farm cheap likes by making jokes and posts about Oliver's diving.

Tribunal members ask Grace QC to clarify the meaning of squirting.

David Grace QC approaches the tribunal members and takes out his phone, he is heard saying "some think it is a myth".

This thread has been gold to catch up and read for the last hour or so, but my god man, I absolutely lost it over this one. Holy shit! :D:thumbsu::clapping:

Jordan Lewis just helped add to the diving claim. When at the Hawks Cyril cleaned him up with a ripping bump right up the middle and Oliver got up. But when he got a minor tap on the chin he fell back like he was shot. So one instance he's super tough....and in another he isn't? Exactly how does that work Jordan? One game you are tough....the next you arent?

If Lewis wasn't defending a team mate I'm pretty sure he'd have a different comment and something closer to the truth.

Should have asked him if he or Hodge would have dropped dead like that if it happened to them.

haha completely agree. His comment makes no sense. God I wish he was on tomorrow night after the tribunal results, but then he'd probably just say the same thing

mind blowingly stupid comment by Lewis here. unfortunately most people (who use afl 360 as their only source of info) will buy it.

Ok now that we've all felt a healthy dose of comraderie all going into bat (pun intended Marto) for schoey as a united front, can we all please go back to arguing about our midfield woes and mainly priddis??

This.

There's plenty of evidence to suggest Oliver puts his head over the ball and can take a hit. It's one of his strengths as a player

You can't claim he can stand up to the biggest of hits and simultaneously suggest well it must have been a hard hit to knock him down when the vision shows the opposite

Please let Barrett say some shit about this on Friday.
Let me guess:

WEST COAST
IF... you spend two days trying to clear your player of striking
THEN... maybe the flat trackers should have shown more of that fight on Saturday night. Clinging onto the eight and not even the home ground is a fortress any more must be worrying Adam Simpson.

MELBOURNE
IF... we know Clayton Oliver like we think we do
THEN... he's in for a big game on Friday night against the Swans. The kid will be disappointed but he's no stager.

Raise your Diablos in triumph boys
Mm that Kashmir willow

I couldn't afford that fancy bloody graphite English willow Kookaburra Beast

Then again I bat at 10 and average 3 so probably didn't need it

This. Lewis was trying to prove a negative. Just because Odiver didn't dive once doesn't mean he isn't a diver.

Anyway Lewis is a footballer and not a Rhodes Scholar. Can't blame him for sticking up for his teammate. In fact you'd love to play with someone like that who is fiercely loyal even when you know he is aware of what CO did.
