Let me guess:

WEST COAST
IF... you spend two days trying to clear your player of striking
THEN... maybe the flat trackers should have shown more of that fight on Saturday night. Clinging onto the eight and not even the home ground is a fortress any more must be worrying Adam Simpson.

MELBOURNE
IF... we know Clayton Oliver like we think we do
THEN... he's in for a big game on Friday night against the Swans. The kid will be disappointed but he's no stager.
Quinz is Damian Barrett confirmed

Uncomfortably close to the pin

I think it's clear that Melbourne have recently employed a new coach

Better result for Schofield being found NG anyway, no fine.
For Schoey yes. But QC's don't come cheap. The club will have pay for it... by ripping us fans off somehow. So basically Olivers diving has cost us all money. Hate the little punk even more.

Just about any non-Melbourne fan (and even some Melbourne fans) support Schofield. Not one questioned the tribunal decision.

It was a popular outcome, you can now farm cheap likes by making jokes and posts about Oliver's diving.
The amount of likes being given out is unprecedented.

I couldn't care less about Oliver.
The club took a stand on principle and defended one its players

Hope our players respond accordingly on the weekend

Yep, if you were Schofield and the club didn't bother to appeal the decision you couldn't blame him if he felt unsupported by the club. Also the right call to challenge it for the sake of the game, hopefully now after this the AFL will stick to their word and truly crack down on players who dive.

Over here in Vic at least some of the QCs rep clubs for free. It may be the publicity, their love of the club, enjoying being "in" with the club ect. So may not have actually cost is anything.

Great result. I love the fact that Schoey told the tribunal that Lewis tapped him on the backside with some positive on field banter. He made both Lewis and himself look like good blokes and reemphasized how badly Oliver staged and then behaved post squirt.

Gotta love last night!!!!

Scholfied gets off and rightly so.

The AFL and the tribunal get that right BUT on the same night they manage to stuff up the Houli one. GOLD!

Gotta love the AFL Circus Act, real chance to get things right last night but they invented a new way of cocking it all up.

At least sanity prevailed and Schofield got off.
