There is a great hypocricy here (particularly in the media) that schoolies is bad and dangerous (all the damage is caused by gatecrashing 30 yearolds anyway) yet getting ****ed to the point of being sick and sticking your tongue down a strangers throat at the Melbourne Cup is considered an Australian tradition!!!!!!

People have to learn to trust their kids.

nothing wrong with a few (too many) drinks, a bit of tang, and a nice hangover the next day, and than backing up to do it all again the next day. doesn't matter if your 17, 18, 30 or 40 (or older)....
