In the last 12 months alone he has brought Neil Craig and Dave Misson to a recognised train-wreck of a club, had the major sponsor absolutely disgrace himself, and found not one but two major sponsors to replace him. Both major sponsors have re-signed for the future.

Not seeing any failure on his part there.

People in positions of power always receive criticism. From where I'm sitting, the business-side of Melbourne is moving along nicely.

Exactly right.

And of course, none of those who've taken potshots at Schwab over the time he's been with us - including DF - can actually fault any of the actions he's taken as an administrator at our club. As Dez said, he's clearly good at his job, he's a big part of the reason why we're as strong off the field now as we've ever been.

As long as he sticks to that job, and doesn't try to get involved in areas where he's not capable, he should remain in said job long into the future.
