Get over yourself, bp just asked a question and got an answer. Considering science interacts with society, religion and politics on a daily level, I'd say it belongs here.
So wait, when science gets politicized it doesn't belong here in the society, religion and politics forum? Are you lost?
Can you please point out the reference to GW in my response???? It was purely related to the question asked, and not once did it have any political connotations.
FWIW, the main use of IR absorption in organic molecules is in IR spectroscopy, which is used to identify whether or not certain bond types are present in unknown organic compounds.
I'm almost ashamed to be a Geelong supporter with numbnuts like you and KC07 around.....
Ah sorry. My mistake. So this is the politicised science forum? Cool, as long as we all know.

What is political about understanding the way in which certain molecules abosrb and emit infrared?
You are the only ******** politicising shit around here. I mean, do right wing molecules absorb less IR or something? I guess that would go a long way towards explaining your ignorant POV anyway...
I really hope you are feeling stupid right now, because if you're not then you should be and it speaks more for your mentality than it does the question I asked.
I'm sure all your 'science' will line up nicely with your political views.
Meh, whatever. You've got your science sub-topic of Society, Religion and Politics. I'm sure all your 'science' will line up nicely with your political views.

I don't think that the wavelengths that CO2 absorbs alter depending on one's political views.

I got pwned but I'm too embarrassed to admit it so I'll leave with a snide remark to maintain my pride.
This thread needs more science.

I've been gagging for wireless elec for ****ing years now, and here it is. God, I pray for a life without ****ing electrical leads cluttering everything up!![]()
More ****ing sick applications of science and tech!
We can only pray that it is forward thinkers like that, and not Luddites like our good friend CC, who inherit the scientific Earth![]()

BP this is a science board. No praying here
PS- God rocks ha!![]()
