Fingers crossed for these two . Wales in particular.
Ditto

For once Windy we will be supporting the same team in Scotland;)

I hope Scotland can get though, because by Euro2004 our current list will be even better, as McFadden and Flecher get more game time in the EPL, heck even Barry Ferguson could even find some good form by then:D

COME ON SCOTLAND YA DANCER

Go the Scots. Watched the first game and I agree that Scotland need to score to put the pressure on. Can't see a 0-0 draw with the home crowd urging the Dutch on.

I just want to see Ryan Giggs in a major national tournament. The Scots can go to hell, but I've always had a soft spot for the Welsh.

With Giggs' leg almost being broken last week, I hope he gets through alright. But I'd love to see some success for Sparky and Giggsy at the top level. They bloody well deserve it.

Go Cymru! I hope they can finally get through to a major tournament, it's been far too long.

Good luck to the Scots as well, they've given themselves a great chance, hope they go on with it.

It's hard not to like Wales, after all two Everton greats (Roy Vernon and Kevin Ratcliffe) captained both club and country while Neville Southall remains the holder of record appearances for both!

A Welsh appearance in a major tournament has been long overdue- they did come close to qualification for the Euro championships and World Cup on a number of occasions (a missed penalty by Paul Bodin cost them a place in USA '94) but hit something of a low ebb in the mid to late 90s. Mark Hughes has turned the corner and it's time he's rewarded. I'd like to see how far Wales can get in Euro 2004.

As for Scotland, I didn't actually expect them to make it to the play-offs let alone beat Holland! But they've got a golden opportunity, some promising youngsters meaning the future is bright after all, and they should be able to do it.

Obviously you all didn't cross your fingers hard enough

The Scots are being belted 6 - 0 and the Welsh are down 1 - 0 with both games into the last 10 minutes

Shocking, shocking night for Scottish Soccer, only a few day after one of our greatest days. I think all we did on Saturday was **** the Dutch off and they rightfully put us away. We just didn't put in the effort of Saturday and the Dutch were on fire. Oh well bring on the 2006 World Cup Qualifying

I know it will be overshadowed - but what about Latvia! 2-0 down in Istanbul, they pull 2 goals back to get through to their first major tournament.

Against the team that finished 3rd in the World Cup at one of the toughest venues in the world, that is a MASSIVE effort.

As usual the Turks disgraced themselves, throwing bottles on the pitch. Although the Latvian celebration probably didn't help - one of the players grabbed a corner flag and pretended to shoot his teammates with it!

Well done Latvia. And go Switzerland in the finals.

And did it with out Marian Pahars as well, pretty big part of their team.
