It feels like we are so far behind the pack regarding our list. Who was our last genuine pacy small forward? Lindsay?

Add to that, they have a 7 game HBF’er who can come in have a lazy 20 possies, 80% accuracy and 500m gained..

We actually traded away a pick that could have got the best in the draft last year. We took Mahoney, who doesn’t run particularly quickly.

Our Drafting is a joke- every year we’re crying out for a speedy small forward but we go out and get Mahoney who looks ok but isn’t speedy.
We * up the next three drafts and we’ll be bottom four for a decade

I don't know if he will be involved in recruitment, but I hope he doesn't have the final say.

He can pick a player in the middle of the draft, but by god has he picked some stinkers in the first round.

About the only players he got rigtht at the Dogs were Cal Ward, Higgins and Griffen. He was responsible for some good value picks like Easton Wood etc.

Was responsible for Jarrad Grant, Tom Williams, Andrejs Everitt.

Then responsible for the Gorringe, Tape, Schade type picks at the Suns.


He has a tendacy for picking s**t truck, athletic, string bean tweener KPP's.



I will say he can pick a midfielder though, so as long as we are staying between the lines this draft....
